Does anyone here know anything about mains electrical power generation and distribution at a national level?
Bluntly, I do not think that a single point of failure can cause total outage across an entire country, even if someone wanted to do that.
Given that contingencies for local & regional failures must be built into the system, I’m deeply sceptical about a news report that almost an entire country has experienced an electrical supply problem.
A much simpler explanation for such an event is that it was ordered & that those orders were complied with.
There is a range of possibilities & I may be wide of the mark.
However, I’m not sure I’ve ever heard of an entire country losing its mains electricity supply in 50+ years. There were fierce ice storms in the continental US and eastern Canada one year which I believe affected a large proportion of the northeast. I think that’s probably the previous worst case.
I’ll be interested both in expert knowledge and also educated guesses (please indicate which yours is!).
Also, why the dickens are they doing this? It’s running diametrically against their policies to persuade the gullible to drive an EV, to accept a novel digital ID & to introduce a digital-only currency.

Metagenomics is typical of where “big data” & biology overlap.
I remember this starting to intrude into pharmaceutical R&D around 25 years ago.
It took me a while to realise it’s literally propaganda. It was useful within big pharma’s research divisions because it enabled plausible sounding claims which were beyond the ability of typical main board members to interrogate.
It’s also useful propaganda with the public for the same reason.
It’s lies, however. We cannot even reliably predict anything simply from genotyping patients or the wider population. This is because environmental triggers dominate causes of illness, not genetics.
Genetics is important, but it’s role is almost always subtle because very few diseases are “monogenic”, that is, caused by a specific error in one gene. That is the exception. Almost every disease involves complex interactions of several profoundly important environmental factors, mostly revealing themselves only after long periods of time and where genetics are important, the most common findings implicate a large number of poorly understood genetic sequences. We don’t understand the functions of the proteins encoded by the genes which appear “linked” to the illness, none of which genetic factors are individually strongly determinative of illness and we literally no idea to what extent each of the factors influence one another.
This is a truly useless foundation upon which to build ANYTHING. Not diagnostics, not prognostics, certainly not drug interventions and for pities sake, definitely not with gene-modifying interventions.
In short, it’s main utility I’d to baffle people with prime, science-y sounding BS.

I posted a short talk by Richard Werner earlier. Here’s one from Catherine Austin Fitts.
Both are on the digital control grid that is cashless CBDC (or “all-digital currency”, as CAF termed it).
This at 45 min (followed by Q&A) is more detailed but fundamentally the warning is identical: do not rest & allow cash to be withdrawn and your money to be replaced by CBDC. I realise that you & I can’t stop the perpetrators from doing it. But we can make sure it doesn’t happen in a vacuum, in silence.
There are a small handful of things that I strongly urge you to lose no opportunity to tell family, friends, neighbours, colleagues and complete strangers about 😊
One of them is about the vital role cash plays in freedom of action and from surveillance. In my opinion, removal of the OPTION for customers to use cash ought to be rendered illegal. It doesn’t matter if few customers ever use cash. But the option so to do is the only thing keeping you free from control by remote & anonymous powers. Nothing else. All digital transactions are visible already to inappropriate authorities and, if bank, card & app-based transactions are converted to CBDC, visible in real time and potentially subject to real time permissioning.
This isn’t a theoretical problem. It is THE single, most important objective of this entire mess, not only since 2020, in my opinion, but since 1913.
Unlimited surveillance and control over your life is within the near term grasp of the powers that shouldn’t be. Catherine explicitly mentions that permissioning could be subject to compliance with certain public health standards. She means jabs. She knows perfectly well what I’ve said about “mRNA vaccines” and I believe she agrees that the principalities and powers have certain intentions with the control they seek to impose.
There are some people who seem confident that the extent of digital control sought isn’t technically possible. I’m not qualified to comment. But I don’t think hope is a strategy. I discern that one of the main reasons computer experts say this is that we all know how failure prone simply joining two legacy IT systems are in companies or local government. If I was charged with oversight of designing a system that would work, among the criterion would be that I can design a banking & payment system from scratch and incorporate interoperable digital ID in the same, blank sheet project scope. Then it probably would work.

I posted a short talk by Richard Werner earlier. Here’s one from Catherine Austin Fitts.
Both are on the digital control grid that is cashless CBDC (or “all-digital currency”, as CAF termed it).
This at 45 min (followed by Q&A) is more detailed but fundamentally the warning is identical: do not rest & allow cash to be withdrawn and your money to be replaced by CBDC. I realise that you & I can’t stop the perpetrators from doing it. But we can make sure it doesn’t happen in a vacuum, in silence.
There are a small handful of things that I strongly urge you to lose no opportunity to tell family, friends, neighbours, colleagues and complete strangers about 😊
One of them is about the vital role cash plays in freedom of action and from surveillance. In my opinion, removal of the OPTION for customers to use cash ought to be rendered illegal. It doesn’t matter if few customers ever use cash. But the option so to do is the only thing keeping you free from control by remote & anonymous powers. Nothing else. All digital transactions are visible already to inappropriate authorities and, if bank, card & app-based transactions are converted to CBDC, visible in real time and potentially subject to real time permissioning.
This isn’t a theoretical problem. It is THE single, most important objective of this entire mess, not only since 2020, in my opinion, but since 1913.
Unlimited surveillance and control over your life is within the near term grasp of the powers that shouldn’t be. Catherine explicitly mentions that permissioning could be subject to compliance with certain public health standards. She means jabs. She knows perfectly well what I’ve said about “mRNA vaccines” and I believe she agrees that the principalities and powers have certain intentions with the control they seek to impose.
There are some people who seem confident that the extent of digital control sought isn’t technically possible. I’m not qualified to comment. But I don’t think hope is a strategy. I discern that one of the main reasons computer experts say this is that we all know how failure prone simply joining two legacy IT systems are in companies or local government. If I was charged with oversight of designing a system that would work, among the criterion would be that I can design a banking & payment system from scratch and incorporate interoperable digital ID in the same, blank sheet project scope. Then it probably would work.

A friend in USA made me aware of this malign, creepy bill going through UK parliament.
“The Childrens Wellbeing and Schools Bill is simply an underhanded way of ensuring that children will receive all the horrific education about “alternative lifestyles” and more, which their parents are trying to protect them from - and that the government is aggressively seeking to indoctrinate every child with“.
There are also changes to rules relating to Homeschooling.
Parents: the shadowy people who ran to convid scam & the climate crisis scan are coming after your children.
If you’re up for opposing anything, this one strikes me as among the more important as well as winnable campaigns.
