What a relief for Christians and White Americans, Mr. Weinstein, for you two to have this discussion.

Two Jews, one is a liberal agnostic and the other a liberal atheist, are publicly, yet very respectfully, dialoguing about Israel and the war in Gaza on behalf of the American public. This discussion is—in part—a reflection on a recent argument advanced by a British sodomite and Zionist, Douglas Murray (it is unclear if he is/was “married” to a Jew), who is more devoted to Israel than either of the two Jewish ethnics. Incidentally, this argument was just put forward on the world’s biggest and, perhaps, most influential podcast. Weinstein also talked about Daryl Cooper and was happy that his provocative comments about Winston Churchill were just that, provocative, meant to “rib” his friends, and only half-serious. After all, Weinstein and Smith both agree Hitler was a genocidal maniac.

Oh, and during the segment Eric mentioned that on Twitter, he “cannot walk a foot without being covered by antisemitic leeches”, and that he “understand[s] the same thing has been happening to [Dave]”.

Truly a mystery why those “antisemitic leeches” won’t leave them alone.

Pope Leo XIII, in his landmark 1888 encyclical Libertas Praestantissimum, which carefully distinguishes between true liberty, Christian liberty, and its liberal and modern counterpart, what is rather false liberty, outlines the duties of the State towards God and religion. As explained in the encyclical, liberty, detached from its object, namely objective truth and goodness, becomes license and—in fact—is no liberty at all.

In particular, after rejecting the absurdity of liberty of worship, based on the false principle, religious freedom, that every man is free to profess any religion which he so chooses (or none), teaches that is is the duty of the State to worship God in the true religion. This is naturally followed by the obligation of the State to not only assist man in his temporal life, but to help him achieve his eternal salvation—reasonably removing obstacles and promoting virtue in public life.

Correcting Eric Sammons’ promotion of Ron Paul - (link)

A system of thought is not measured by the sincerity of its exponent, rather by the soundness of its principles and the merit of its arguments. Most importantly, the philosophy—Ron Paul libertarianism is no exception—must be compatible with the Catholic understanding of natural law, authority, the social character of man, subjection of the economy to the law of morality, union between Church and State, the basis of rights and duties—to name just a few.

America is descending further and further into godlessness, individualism and immorality not, as many seem to think, in spite of the liberalism of Ron Paul, on the contrary, precisely because of it. The poisonous and anti-authoritarian liberalism he promotes is all the more dangerous given how sincere and amiable he is, as a man. Ron Paul has many gifts and gets some things right but, objectively, he is leading many astray.

For these reasons, Ron Paul is not, nor ever will be an American hero. Individualism is subversive of the very notion of society and is holding America back from true reform. He also is a rationalist, perhaps only a moderate one, who has divorced reason from Divine and Ecclesiastical authority, and foments suspicion about the authority and legitimacy, in principle, of the State, and its important role to play in helping men attain temporal happiness, to say nothing of Eternal Beatitude.

From the above clip, Dave Smith, a Jew, talking to Lex Fridman, another Jew, accurately characterizes the central thesis of Ron Paul (and every other libertarian) by saying, “the highest political value ought to be liberty”.

1. Liberty is not the highest good of man, rather it is merely the act of the will choosing (electing) *moral* means to achieve a particular *good* end.

2. As such, liberty must, by its nature, have the good and truth as its object, otherwise it is a false liberty, properly called license. Put similarly, choosing evil is a defect of liberty, it is a false liberty.

3. Nor is liberty defined as the power to choose between good and evil—which is a very popular and false view—otherwise God, who has perfect freedom, would, Himself, not be free.

Pope Leo XIII, in his landmark encyclical teaching about true, Christian liberty, Libertas, lays out the above more thoroughly.

Imagine having to explain to your great grandparents that in 2026 the [likely] governor of Ohio is going to be a man by the name of Vivek Ganapathy Ramaswamy, whose campaign consists primarily in lecturing Ohioans on what it truly means to be an American. Not only is the governor going to be Indian, but he is going to be a self-professed Hindu, too. There is a recent phenomenon among Catholic so-called influencers who, having clandestinely pivoted away from their earlier support of Zionism, are now retreating to the more tenable (superficially) position of philosemitism. This position is characterized by special treatment, concern, privileges and concessions to Jews, catering to their taboos and paranoia, often over and against Catholic sensibilities and attitudes—sometimes even teachings. In a dispute between a Jew and Catholic, before weighing any evidence, they reflexively side with the former.

Notice, importantly, that these influencers did not publicly acknowledge reasons for their having abandoned Zionism—since it is both a theological and political error—rather that goes unmentioned. A good mind, upon receiving sufficient evidence that it is mistaken, should change its position, humbly admitting (which goes for everyone, including the present author of this post) it got something wrong. There is no shame in that. However, their glaring omission has the effect of leaving their audience in the dark as to whether it was humbly realizing they were mistaken or, perhaps more cynically, it is now expedient (money) to be anti-Zionist. Another element, coupled with the aforementioned, is that rejecting Zionism, especially the more outrageous forms, shores up their credibility with those who rightly see that the conservative movement is presently (though, this could change) in a perilous position, hemorrhaging interest, money and credibility.

All of this to say that the pressure and probing questions must continue. Philosemitism is, in some ways, more dangerous, given how it camouflages itself, being hard to pin down. Organized Jewry still remains in control, albeit weakened, if we are still playing with Jewish rules.

Catholics tainted with philosemitism, who have managed to capture power, still truly hold back a political order governed—exclusively—by Catholic moral principles and attitudes. They must be challenged, firmly, without compromising the truth. Credulity is no virtue, though what is to be avoided is irrational skepticism, or worse, poisoned cynicism.
