I have been asked many times if I am supportive/celebrating the exposing of USAID and proposals to cut elements of the federal government.
Here's why I don't have rose colored glasses about the situation:
First, for those who have been paying attention, USAID has long been known as a CIA cutout that funds color revolutions and propaganda. I reported on it more than a year ago in Chapter 10 of The Pyramid of Power.
People like G. Edward Griffin exposed this in THE 1950's with his reporting on the Reece Commission and the way foundations, NGOs etc influence government.
Sure, we have some new details, and it's good that more normies are learning of this (if they are listening), but its not groundbreaking or unheard of.
Also - and this is the bigger point - while as a libertarian I celebrate efforts to shrink government, you have to put it in the context of Technocracy.
The Technocrats goal has always been to remove the political class and the business/capitalist class to replace them with the scientific and technological elite who will use "the machines" aka AI to manage society and distribute resources and energy credits.
This is likely why we are now seeing Elon float the idea of stimulus checks for the people. They will eliminate government bureaucracy only to replace it with a Technocratic system.
Study the words of the original Technocrats from the 1930's and then study Zbigniew Brzezinski's book The Technetronic Era to understand the goals of the modern day technocrats.
It's not individual liberty they are interested in promoting.

In a recent interview with Fox & Friends, former President Donald Trump was asked if he would support the release of files relating to 9/11, JFK, and Jeffrey Epstein. While he expressed support for releasing files relating to 9/11 and JFK, he hesitated to promise the release of the Epstein files, claiming there is fake information that could ruin people's lives.

There is no "Epstein list".
This has been a huge failing of "alternative" media by constantly reporting it as such.
We have Epstein's blackbook (which btw has 16 numbers from Trump), we have flight manifests, and we have business relationships.
There's not a list floating around that says "Client List" at the top. We already can surmise who was involved based on the reports we've had since at least 2010.
I reported on many of these names in my 2018 documentary, Bringing Down Jeffrey Epstein.

Trump executive order ends National Law Enforcement Accountability Database, which he proposed creating in 2020.
The first nationwide database tracking misconduct by federal police officers has been shut down by President Donald Trump, the Justice Department confirmed, deleting a resource that experts said improved public safety by helping to prevent bad officers from jumping to new agencies and starting over with clean records.
The database was first proposed by Trump in 2020 in the wake of the police killing of George Floyd. But it wasn’t created until two years later when an executive order from President Joe Biden launched the National Law Enforcement Accountability Database. Trump issued an order last month revoking Biden’s orders, and the database.
The national database encompassed nearly 150,000 federal officers and agents, from the FBI and IRS down to the Railroad Retirement Board. And though it launched only in December 2023, by the end of last year all 90 executive branch agencies with law enforcement officers had provided thousands of disciplinary records dating to 2017, a report issued by the Justice Department in December said.
