After reading a recent article on Labour's plans to build 1.5 million homes, here's my penny's worth.
1. Who are they for, we have had a declining birthrate for decades.. so these new homes are not for the native Brits they are to accommodate immigrants. Over 2 million in just the last 2 years, these people have to live somewhere, we can't make them all live in Birmingham now they've managed to reduce it to a cross between Delhi and a bombed out afghan village.
2. All environmental safeguards have been scrapped, they can legaly tear down ancient woodland, desecrate meadows, wetlands and areas of scientific interest, not to mention areas of historical significance. They care less about the environment than they do about you, and trust me, they despise you.
3. They plan on picking the sites for these new smart city's or 20 minute towns in secret, using subtifuge in order to buy agricultural land with no planning consent at rock bottom prices and then just granting themselves permission to build a city or town. All of these conurbations will be equipped with the necessary agenda 30 requirements. Shops, schools, entertainment, health care, not forgetting the 5g CCTV etc, so there is no reason you would have to travel, or indeed ever leave the area. Sounds a lot like a prison to me.
3. 40% of these homes will be for social housing, the reason for that is to supply homes to the ever increasing immigrant population that do not work. These people will probably never work in a society that is becoming ever more automated. They have simply arrived here enmasse to get handed everything for free, including a new home.
4. Who will build these new homes? Our new AI encouraging labour government says a lot of this building won't be done by traditional construction workers, they will be mass produced in factories probably staffed by redundant bricklayers then erected on site like your IKEA wardrobe. Once that ball gets rolling, say goodbye to those traditional building jobs, yet another raft of skills will be lost to the new technological age.
5. Who's paying for this? Well property developers and huge house building firms will certainly play their part, but they hate building shops, social housing, schools, those things don't bring in the profit like a stack of rabbit hutch sized homes. That is what they'll build, it won't be pleasant or anything that is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, the word beauty is utterly foreign to them. As is always the case, the majority of the cost will be covered by YOU the ever loyal tax paying worker. You will literally be paying for the destruction of your country and the settlement of the people being shipped here to replace you.
6. Do you get a say in this? No, you get to pay for it and if you dare complain or protest or even disagree, well you must be one of those far right neo fascist trouble makers, more commonly known as an English man. There is a little cell waiting for people like you, so just keep your head down, your mouth shut and put up with the hell they are designing for you.
