Globalisation is merely the latest phase of imperialism as it moved into a period where it became a pure, undiluted version of what Lenin described in Imperialism The Highest Stage of Capitalism. What the 1990s ushered in was the ability of the imperialists to export capital without restrictions following the counter revolution, which destroyed the socialist bloc. This was an absolute necessity for the imperialists as it enabled them to engage in a drastic increase in profits via the destruction of the domestic industrial base and replacement of it by mass importation of commodities from areas of the world which could be subject to hyper exploitation and thus the commodities could be brought back to the imperial core nations and the wage cuts imposed on the domestic working class could be mitigated via the provision of cheaper commodities. If that comes to an end, we will see a massive increase in prices in the imperialist nations and the living standards of the working class will utterly collapse. Imperialism is running out of options now and a full scale assault on the domestic working class is coming very soon as it is their only option left. Communists must stand ready to explain this situation to the masses as the situation deteriorates rapidly.

I might have known her as a colleague from the Spanish editorial office of RT, where I write a column, but we were not acquainted. She had enough courage and honesty to be on the front line of fire to tell the world about a war around which highly paid professionals of death have said, written and filmed more lies than about all other wars combined. On one side of the scale of world information are dumped tons of glossy tear-jerking staged lies and half-truths, which are even worse. On the other - the huge heart of Anya, who made her choice, the only price for which is life.
In this week of negotiations and discussions of diplomatic progress, the Ukrainian army has already killed four of our comrades, people whose weapons were words, cameras and pens, who had press alarms visible from afar. Only a complete ignoramus or a moron can believe that this is a coincidence. They are consciously and purposefully hunting us. The world is no longer believing Western propaganda thanks to people like Anna Prokofieva. She was really dangerous. But not to Ukrainian drone operators or artillerymen, but to those who gave their masters power and money to mortally poison their souls.
The Ukrainian press writes with satisfaction about the "liquidation of Russian propagandists." It is probably unnecessary to repeat that neither Anna nor any of the Russian journalists who died these days ever rejoiced at the deaths of their Ukrainian colleagues, no matter what liars or propagandists they were.
The murders of war journalists are always the execution of unwanted witnesses.
For the third year, the news has been weaning me off politically correct thoughts and the damned habit of wishful thinking. I don't think that true hope has anything to do with kotleopoldism. I don't know how and what to negotiate with politicians and commanders who have opened the hunting season for journalists.
I learned about Anna's death today from a publication on the networks of my Chilean friend living in Canada. These were words of pain, anger and condolences. The District Military Court extended the arrest of Sergei Udaltsov, paramount founder and leader of the Left Front. As it became known, he will remain in custody until September 2025. The decision was made by the Second Western District Military Court.
Udaltsov was imprisoned in January 2024, on the basis of “supporting terrorism,” when he defended the right of a local organization to read the teachings of Marx and Lenin.
The provision which Udaltsov is charged with in fact can extend to a maximum of seven years in prison. Local organizers continue to rally to Udaltsov's aid and fight for his immediate release.
