I had a small credit card charge denial today from a Canadian online company, yet I have an excellent credit score rating with a card that is paid off every month. My credit card company said the Canadian vendor denied it. I called the Canadian company, and they claimed my card was fraudulent!

I called my only credit card company again. After a lengthy conversation, the agent admitted he had many calls today about Canadian merchants refusing US credit cards through their banks.

So... the US/Canada trade war is on. Buy American only!

I just love all these folks channeling the Reagan of the 1980s to bash Trump's tariffs.

The 1980s are midway between the present day and the end of WW2. A lot of time in politics has gone by since Reagan crapped all over tariffs.

You know else is stupid? People acting like there's no big deal for countries to tariff us over 50% for whatever goods/American exports they see fit, and we just run with it.

I want to know who the hell is being bribed to make sure we deal with other countries' tariffs, and impose none of our own. If you're a 1980s Reagan worshipper stuck in the past, then you're the reason the GOP sucks, and the very reason Donald Trump became a political person to begin with.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to think about taking up smoking.
