The Organizational Behavior (OB) group at Yale SOM anticipates hiring full-time postgraduate associates. The positions will begin in the summer 2025 and are one-year commitments with the possibility of renewal. This position would be an excellent fit for someone looking to strengthen their research skills before applying to PhD programs in psychology, sociology, and/or organizational behavior.
The candidate would support a subset of OB faculty (some faculty may include Beth Anne Helgason, David Munguia Gomez, Erin Frey, Jennifer Dannals, Laura Adler, and Minjae Kim) research related to the future of work, ethics, decision-making, cultural stereotypes, discrimination and inequality in the workplace.
The candidate will support a variety of tasks related to the research process. Specific tasks may include assisting with qualitative and quantitative data collection, cleaning quantitative datasets, hand-coding data, constructing variables, conducting data analysis, visualizing and summarizing data, preparing annotated reproducible code, maintaining research records, training other lab members, and writing and preparing manuscripts.
The candidate will have opportunities to contribute to ongoing collaborative projects, as well as participate in the broader intellectual community at Yale SOM and Yale. The associate will work under the supervision of the Senior Associate Director of Initiative on Leadership & Organization (ILO) and the Yale School of Management OB faculty.
This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position located in New Haven, Connecticut.
