As part of the CONNECT-NM project, the European Nuclear Education Network (ENEN) is supporting the creation of the Evaluation Committee (EvaCo), which will include nine members – one for each Research Line (RL) and material class. Their role will be key in ensuring expert and impartial evaluations of project ideas.
📌 We are still looking for additional candidates across the following five research lines:
1️⃣ Advanced materials development & manufacturing
2️⃣ Materials & component qualification: testing, standardization & design rules
3️⃣ Non-destructive examination & materials health monitoring
4️⃣ Advanced materials modelling and characterization
5️⃣ Nuclear materials knowledge & data management
We aim to finalize the committee by 🗓️ Friday, February 7, 2025, ensuring availability for project discussions in April.

Neutrons4Na is a collaborative project that promotes the use of neutron sources, both research reactor- and accelerator-based, to support nuclear science and applications. Its goal is to improve access to these technologies, which are vital for fields like healthcare, materials research, industry, and agriculture – just to mention a few. The project emphasizes information and experience sharing, networking, bilateral arrangements and capacity building to help member states establish new or enhance existing neutron source capabilities. By doing so, it aims to tackle global challenges and create positive socioeconomic impacts, particularly in areas where neutron-based applications can make a significant difference. This webinar will provide a platform to share experiences, good practices, lessons learned, and updates on projects to establish and operate neutron sources globally, highlighting their positive outcomes on society and opportunities for the future.
