What the city of Rafah is witnessing in terms of the bombing of homes and residential blocks, and the destruction of infrastructure, represents a dangerous escalation in the brutal genocide war against our people. It is a desperate attempt to claim a military achievement through the commission of war crimes and crimes against humanity—flagrant violations of international law—carried out by the head of the fascist zionist government before the eyes and ears of the entire world.
The announcement by the criminal Netanyahu of the establishment of what he called “Philadelphia Corridor 2,” and the actions of the fascist occupation army to impose a new reality in the city of Rafah, isolate it from the rest of the Gaza Strip, forcibly displace its residents, and annex it to what is known as the buffer zone on the border with our sister country Egypt, confirms that the criminal, Nazi-like occupation does not only target Rafah. Rather, it seeks to completely isolate Gaza from its Arab depth and deprive our people of their only gateway to the outside world.
What is happening in Rafah embodies a flagrant model of genocide, ethnic cleansing, and forced displacement. This could not have happened without the regional and international silence, and the absence of decisive and deterrent decisions against the leaders of the criminal fascist occupation government. This necessitates urgent action by the international community, and Arab and Islamic nations, to stop it.
We call upon the masses of our Ummah and all the free people of the world to raise their voices loudly against these ongoing crimes, and to exert pressure to take effective stances that put an end to this fascist aggression and foil the occupation’s plans to displace our people and liquidate our cause.
