🇱🇧Speech of the Head of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, MP Mohammad Raad, at the Ceremony Held by the Iranian Embassy in Beirut on the Occasion of International Quds Day ⬇️
The Head of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, MP Mohammad Raad, affirmed that Al-Quds is not merely a political issue, nor just a dispute over land and borders. Al-Quds is the cause of human liberation in this region and the world. It is the highest expression of the path toward the victory of the oppressed, the downtrodden, and the persecuted—those who reject and resist oppression, arrogance, tyranny, occupation, and aggression in all corners of the world. Al-Quds is not only the capital of Palestine but the capital of the earth and the point of connection with the heavens. Because of its greatness and loftiness, Al-Quds deserves to be the meeting point for believers, the free, and the honorable across the entire world.
On the "israeli" Aggression on the Southern Suburb:
The resistance strongly condemns today’s "zionist" aggression on the southern suburb and its people and denounces all its haphazard and fabricated justifications. It reaffirms its commitment to thwart the policies of this enemy and all its attempts to drag Lebanon into normalization with it. Since the resistance bears the responsibility, it calls on the government to strengthen national solidarity against the "zionist" enemy and to take practical steps to ward off dangers, forcing the enemy to withdraw from our occupied land unconditionally and to halt its aggression against Lebanon.
The resistance, having agreed to the ceasefire declaration, remains committed to it and does not violate it. It is the state's duty to fulfill its responsibilities in deterring the enemy, forcing it to stop its aggression, and ending the occupation by all available means, rather than merely justifying its shortcomings, incapacity, and misplaced bets.
Whoever is deluded into assuming that the resistance has become a thing of the past and that its triangular equation has ended irreversibly should, as a matter of sincere advice, beware of the intoxication of temporary power. Governments, after all, are what fade into the past, while the equations drawn by martyrs with their pure blood and their noble sacrifices remain eternal—beyond history itself.
Anyone in our country who claims exclusive authority over decisions of war and peace, or who insists that only the state or certain parties hold this authority, is disregarding reality and truth. In our time, it is the "zionist" enemy alone that wages wars, continues aggression, and persists in occupation. The state, on its own, does not possess the capability to defend the country or protect its people. Meanwhile, certain figures within it promote defeatism and submission among citizens, in compliance with the enemy’s plans and in surrender to its will. The government—its president and ministers—must at the very least align its national rhetoric during this critical phase.
