Sumarmál Vendor Fair:
This isn't a complete list, but we wanted to give everyone a heads up on some of the items that will be available at the vendor fair during Sumarmál. Many more products are being added by fellow attendees, but this should help you plan ahead—and don’t forget to bring cash!
Here’s just a glimpse of what you can expect:
Books, including signed copies of Odin’s Wife: Mother Earth in Germanic Mythology and the brand-new release from the Norroena Society: Æfinlogr, a collection of ancient heathen law codes.
T-Shirts, posters, stickers, and other exclusive merch.
Mead made with care and tradition!
A set of the 9 Sacred Herbs, individually jarred with corks—perfect for those wanting to perform the Smyrja rite or simply have a sacred herbal collection.
Hand-carved wooden statues of the gods.
Jewelry crafted by skilled heathen artisans.
We’re excited to see what other treasures folks will bring, and we’ll keep updating as more vendors join in. Support your folk, grab some unique items, and let’s make this a Sumarmál to remember!

RAFFLE UPDATE!
We’re excited to share that five new items have been donated to our raffle by the generous Beræcer! These pieces of jewelry are themed around Norse mythology and will make a great addition to the prize pool.
A heartfelt thank you to Beræcer for his continued support—his generosity has been incredible, from several cash donations, to these new raffle items, and even contributing to the offerings that will be given to Odin during our blót.
Your support truly strengthens our community and our event!

Offerings at Rituals
Before each blót, we should take time to reflect on the nature and purpose of the rite, and consider what offerings best align with its intent. Offerings may include food, drink, or handcrafted items—anything given in reverence and sincerity. These gifts are meant to be dedicated through ritual acts such as burning in the sacred fire, casting into water, hanging from trees, or pouring onto the earth as libation.
During Sigrblót, a rite dedicated to victory, special attention should be given to offerings made to Odin. This is an ideal time to honor him with meaningful gifts and seek his blessings for strength, success, and triumph.
The important thing is to make sure your offering helps contribute to the overall success of the event.

We got a sign made to help explain this aspect of the rite. We will have nails and hammers available for people to drive a nail into the statue and make a personal prayer.

Our Grand Prize for Sumarmál 2025:
A Handcrafted Lyre!
We are honored to announce a truly special addition to our raffle—an authentic, handcrafted lyre has been donated for the event!
This stunning stringed instrument was built in Alaska using spruce, pine, and black walnut woods. Each piece is custom made and reflects the deep cultural significance of the lyre in early Germanic tradition—an instrument once used by skalds for storytelling, ritual, and honoring the gods.
Lyres like this typically sell for $500–$1000, and the talented craftsman behind this donation will also have one available for purchase during the vendor fair.
This is more than just an instrument—it’s a piece of our shared heritage. Don’t miss your chance to win it!

For any gathering you want to present a captivating aesthetic, creating an atmosphere reflective of our ancestral traditions. The procession pathway will be lined with hand-crafted banners, each bearing a distinct rune from the Elder Futhark. These rune flags will serve as symbolic markers of our heritage. As dusk falls, torches placed along the route will illuminate the banners, casting a warm, flickering light to guide participants forward. Together, the runic imagery and firelight are intended to evoke the solemn beauty of our forebears' rites as we prepare to enter the sacred space.
