In a joint operation by the Turkish army and Iraqi-affiliated border forces, Kurdistan’s PKK guerrillas responded with resistance, resulting in at least one Turkish soldier neutralized and several injured. Two Iraqi border forces were also neutralized, and one was wounded. Two PKK fighters detonated their own bombs to avoid capture, reaching martyrdom.
