A delegation from the leadership of the Hamas movement, headed by senior official Osama Hamdan, participated in the funeral of Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and his successor, Sayyed Safieddine.

The delegation included Taher Al-Nono, Advisor to the Head of the Movement; Ali Baraka, a member of the National Relations Office; Dr. Ahmad Abdel Hadi, the movement’s representative in Lebanon; along with several other Hamas leaders in Lebanon.

The delegation conveyed its deepest condolences to Hezbollah's leadership and the brotherly Lebanese people, emphasizing that the martyred leader Hassan Nasrallah ascended on the path of Al-Quds alongside the martyred leaders Ismail Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar, Saleh Al-Arouri, and Mohammed Deif. They affirmed that these sacrifices would not be in vain but would remain a guiding light for those walking the same path.

The delegation stressed that today, despite the great and immense sacrifices, the resistance movement is stronger and more resilient than ever. They also highlighted that the massive participation in the funeral procession is a clear testament to this reality.

The delegation departed Beirut at dawn today after offering condolences and participating in the funeral ceremonies."
