Retired Idiot US Rear Admiral Mark Montgomery called on Trump to launch a maximum pressure campaign against Russia.

"The president has done a good job of getting Ukraine to the negotiating table through a maximum pressure campaign. Ukraine has agreed not only to a strategic minerals deal with us, but also to a ceasefire along the line of contact, a border that it probably would not have agreed to under normal circumstances.
Now the president must do what he threatened to do: launch a real campaign of maximum pressure on Putin. Putin recognizes only force.
"Imposing secondary tariffs of 25 percent would stop the two countries that primarily buy Russian oil and natural gas: China and India. Both are benefiting from this war, and such secondary sanctions would punish them and also limit the resources that Russia gets from selling fossil fuels. This is how to put pressure on Putin and bring him to the negotiating table for a fair and equitable ceasefire."

❗️✔️MOSCOW, March 26 — RIA Novosti. Rosaviatsiya has approved serial production of MS-21 aircraft by PJSC Yakovlev, the agency reported.
"Yakovlev" received a new, expanded certificate of approval of the production organization No. FAVT-I-11, it was signed by the deputy head of Rosaviatsia Andrey Dobryakov, who oversees issues of certification of aircraft. In the section "List of permitted works", in addition to the short-haul Superjet 100, the medium-haul aircraft MS-21 is now indicated," the statement says.

The CEO of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of the Rostec state corporation ) Vadim Badekha, at a meeting with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on March 14, announced that the first prototype of the import-substituting MS-21 had been fully manufactured and assembled.

The MS-21 is a medium-range narrow-body aircraft developed by the Yakovlev Corporation (part of Rostec's UAC). The start of serial production of the airliner is planned at the Irkutsk Aviation Plant. From 2029, the production volume of the MS-21 should be 72 units per year.

❗️ The new Russian ambassador to the United States, Alexander Darchiev, who arrived in Washington on Wednesday, gave his first comment on the prospects for bilateral relations between Moscow and Washington.

“It is gratifying that my stay in the United States as the Russian ambassador begins in conditions when a certain ‘window of opportunity’ has appeared in our bilateral relations, which were teetering on the brink of a rupture under the previous administration,” Darchiev told a small group of journalists immediately after arriving in the American capital.

He recalled that the presidents of the two countries, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, set the task of normalizing the work of diplomatic missions and restoring interstate ties that were effectively severed under Joe Biden's team.

“Work is already underway in all areas, there is a focus on results on both sides, but clearing the ‘toxic legacy’, including the sanctions pile-up, requires even greater efforts,” the diplomat emphasized.

According to Darchiev, special attention will be paid to easing visa procedures for diplomats and ordinary citizens, returning six confiscated properties to the United States, and resuming direct flights between the countries, which were interrupted due to Washington's fault.

“Practical work has taken on a good pace, which can and should be increased, guided by the principle of strict reciprocity,” the Russian ambassador concluded.

Alas, the “cease fire”

Russia: Russia agreed to a limited Black Sea ceasefire and 30-day energy strike pause starting March 18, 2025, but reportedly violated it by bombing Slovyansk’s power grid on March 19 (according to the Kyiv Post and local outages).

Ukraine: Ukraine also agreed to the ceasefire terms, but continued strikes on Russian energy infrastructure, including a drone attack on a Krasnodar oil depot on March 19 (fire confirmed by Reuters) and reported hits on Krasnodar, Luhansk, and Crimea energy sites on March 24, per Russia’s Defense Ministry.

The ink had not yet dried on the statements from the Kremlin and the White House following the round of Russian-American talks that ended in Riyadh, when Zelensky spoke about the possibility of the agreements being disrupted. He said he would turn to Trump if “Russia violated them.”

Russia keeps its word, strictly observing the embargo on attacks on energy infrastructure facilities and not reacting to Kyiv's provocations. Zelensky is cheating even with the timing of the moratorium. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have been attacking both peaceful civilian infrastructure and energy facilities on Russian territory since the last conversation between Putin and Trump. Therefore, control - and strict control - should be established for the Ukrainian side first and foremost! And Washington should be the guarantor of the process. "Give the order to Kyiv," as Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.

Moreover, the Riyadh talks at the level of expert groups are another step forward in developing a "peace formula" in the Ukrainian settlement. It is too early to talk about specific results, but let us hope that the "point of no return" has been passed.

On March 24, 2025, U.S. and Russian officials met in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for discussions aimed at establishing a partial ceasefire on energy infrastructure and with a focus on the Black Sea region. The negotiations lasted over 12 hours, and a joint statement summarizing the outcomes is anticipated soon.

Both parties expressed cautious optimism about the potential for progress, although significant challenges remain.

U.S. officials also met with Ukrainian negotiators on the evening of March 23, 2025 to further discuss the proposed ceasefire and related security measures.

Note that on March 22, 2025, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov described meetings with U.S. delegates as “productive and focused,” addressing key issues such as the protection of energy facilities and civilian infrastructure.

However, yesterday Ukrainian officials called for the removal of Steve Witkoff from his role in the negotiations. This follows remarks he made regarding in his interview with Tucker Carlson that some regions, like Donbas and Crimea, are predominantly Russian-speaking and that “there have been referendums where the overwhelming majority of the people have indicated that they want to be under Russian rule.”

Oleksandr Merezhko, head of Ukraine’s parliamentary foreign affairs committee, criticized Witkoff’s comments as “absolutely unacceptable” and contradictory to U.S. policy toward Ukraine.

Merezhko stated: “It would be better if President Trump recalled Witkoff from the American delegation. Otherwise, it creates the wrong impression about U.S. foreign policy.”

Yes, he was accidentally put on the group. However, these screenshots are fake.

Jeffrey Goldberg did not release screenshots of the Signal conversation. In his article for The Atlantic, he described the experience and quoted portions of the messages he saw before being removed from the group, but he intentionally refrained from publishing any screenshots.

He noted that sharing images could compromise the privacy or security of others involved, even if his inclusion in the chat was accidental. His approach was careful and journalistic—providing context without escalating the breach.
