Trump wants Jolani to be "a partner" against ISIS but is not lifting the Caesar sanctions or providing weapons LOL. Instead, US is clearly pushing Jolani to align with Turkey and Russia for weapons supply and support. Qatar is not helping Jolani economically because they don't want to get stung by the Trump-created Caesar Sanctions that will punish any country coming to the aid of Syria. There are 10,000 ISIS prisoners still in the north-east with 40,000 family members (in holding camps funded in part by the UK). The US media rhetoric that it would be a major PR gain for ISIS should these prisoners be released and rejoin the ISIS forces suggests that this is probably going to happen, by design. As I said before, Trump never looks for a win-win solution, only win-lose. If Russia is to be allowed to maintain a military presence in Syria, on the coast, there will be a cost. The cost will be managing a situation in which, Russia is supplying Jolani with weapons and assistance to fight the US-controlled ISIS and former Free Syrian Army factions in Syria while also being confronted with turmoil within the. ranks of HTS itself. Jolani has, in the opinion of many of the Takfiri mercenaries under HTS umbrella, betrayed the principles of Takfiri ideology and is heading into alignment with Western liberalism. The US is also pushing for the exodus of "foreign terrorists" - up to 50% of Jolani's fighting forces who have been given positions in the Junta and the military complex. Jolani has promised foreign Takfiris citizenship as reward for their "loyalty". Should he now revoke these incentives and remove Takfiri fanatics from power to enable US to lift sanctions (which they show no sign of doing) he will face internal confrontation just as he did in Idlib - where the US helped by assassinating his detractors on a regular basis. At the same time, Jolani has handed Syrian territory on a plate to the Zionist movement and has made it very clear that he will 1. Destroy any Palestinian Resistance capability inside Syria 2. Eventually normalise with Israel under Abraham Accords - for many Syrians, even those who have lived in isolated fear since the fall of Damascus December 2024, this will be a step too far. The Resistance is already growing fast both inside and outside Syria. So, Jolani faces multiple challenges, far greater than those he dealt with in Idlib where he also benefitted from direct Turkish alliance and weapons - now, Israel has made it clear, this situation will not be repeated in central Syria. Kissinger once said, it is much more dangerous to be a tool/friend of the US - Jolani is rapidly finding out the truth of that statement. Long may it last.

ISIS Attacks Oil Tankers and Escalates Operations in Northeast Syria
ISIS cells attacked three oil tankers with machine guns in Abu Khashab, western Deir Ezzor, causing damage before fleeing. Since early 2025, the group has carried out 67 operations in areas under the Autonomous Administration, killing 23 people, including 13 SDF fighters, 5 ISIS members, and 5 civilians. The attacks included ambushes, shootings, and bombings: 55 in Deir Ezzor, 9 in Hasakah, and 3 in Raqqa. The surge comes amid international warnings of ISIS’s resurgence and its threat to Syrian stability.
This also comes after the US lawmakers "unofficial" visit to Damascus and meeting with Jolani. The Jolani interview with the New York Times, in which he clearly reaches out to Russia for weapons, food and energy supplies. This would only be said under instructions from the US during the visit. At the same time Washington is mobilizing ISIS against Jolani in Syria. Reports are saying ISIS is approaching Damascus and Sweida. We are witnessing an age where free speech is becoming increasingly endangered and voicing an opinion might not just cost you social media attacks, but outright financial loss. Now more than ever, the world is urgently in need of ethical software alternatives that prioritise and respect users, treating them as customers rather than products.
When people think of Meta, X, and other social media giants, they recognise a pervasive disregard for users, where data mining and tracking have become the currency of our time. With the age of AI, cameras everywhere, and the threat of something like Elon Musk’s Neuralink coming to a brain near you, privacy has gone out the window, and your data has become the price you pay every time you use the internet. Wanting to address some of these problems, in 2021, a group of independent software developers and former activists united with a vision to create a safer internet amidst mass surveillance and censorship. They introduced Panquake, a concept aimed at rebalancing power between social media users and platforms, fostering an environment where communication occurs without profiling or exploitation by AI, advertisers, and Big Data…These ideas…led to the development of a full-size, privacy-focused international development house called Talk Liberation. Unfortunately, the organisation has since encountered significant systemic opposition from established entities, including challenges from the financial sector.
Financial institutions, whether banks or other types, targeting customers based on their political beliefs and opinions has long been happening, no matter what side of the aisle they fall into. "De-banking" is the abrupt or involuntary loss of access to traditional banking services, often due to perceived financial, regulatory, or reputational risks associated with specific clients or industries. This phenomenon can severely impact individuals and businesses by restricting access to essential financial services such as loans, savings accounts, and payment processing. Gaining global attention particularly in high-risk sectors, de-banking has prompted discussions about fairness, financial inclusion, and banks' ethical responsibilities.
Back in 2016, PayPal, a global leader in online payment services, cut off payments to the anti-Israel group BDS France. In 2020, Canadian authorities froze the finances of individuals and companies linked to ongoing protests in Ottawa, against Covid vaccine mandates. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) froze 206 financial products, including bank & corporate accounts, disclosed information on 56 entities tied to vehicles, individuals, & businesses, shared 253 Bitcoin addresses with cryptocurrency exchanges, & froze a payment processing account valued at $3.8 million.
More recently, a German bank froze the account of… Jewish Voice for a Just Peace in the Middle East, requesting a list of its members and their addresses.. Berliner Sparkasse blocked its account without prior notice while updating customer information. In a letter to the board, the bank described the action as "precautionary" and demanded various documents, including member names and addresses…the association challenged the bank's authority to freeze accounts without justification, noting that such requests are reminiscent of inquiries from intelligence agencies or police exerting political pressure on them…The organization emphasised rising political persecution amid waning global support for Israel's actions in the West Bank and Gaza.
All of these cases and many more others signal that no matter what someone’s political belief, financial institutions be they banks or companies like PayPal, targeting them based on political bias, is wrong and should not occur, as financial attacks are set to stop or undermine people or organizations.

"The amendments will remove UK restrictions on some sectors including financial services and energy production in Syria, helping to facilitate essential investment in Syria’s energy infrastructure and supporting the Syrian people to rebuild their country and economy.
Additionally, sanctions on 12 entities will be lifted, including the Syrian Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Interior and media companies."
Utterly meaningless "amendments" to sanctions on Syria by GOV.UK. Until the US lifts the Caesar Sanctions - no country will invest in Syrian energy infrastructure. Turkey sold the war against Syria as being an investment for the Turkish economy - clearly that is a failed policy with the Turkish economy taking a further nosedive and Erdogan facing more investment in Syria to keep Jolani afloat. Russia is not going to provide more investment in what is clearly a floundering leadership. Even former Syrian businessmen who have returned to Syria to evaluate investment potential, have returned to their respective second homes because "it's not the right time".

Behind the band, projected in high resolution, is footage of Gaza. Not its people. Not its streets. But its destruction. Carpet bombing. Buildings disintegrating. Fireballs erupting from neighborhoods turned into rubble.
And with every bomb drop, the crowd roars (!)
Not in protest. Not in horror. In celebration. Fists in the air. Pride in genocide.
This is in no way, shape or form any art. This is Zionist-sanctioned sadism set to music.

Al-Julani carries out Tel Aviv's orders and arrests Palestinian resistance figures.
In a move that cannot be overlooked, Wahhabi Takfiri gangs, led by the terrorist al-Julani, carried out an arrest campaign targeting cadres of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement in the heart of the occupied Syrian capital, Damascus.
The arrests included:
Leader Khaled Khaled, head of the Syrian arena in the Islamic Jihad Movement.
And the leader Abu Ali Yasser, head of the organizing committee.
This shameful crime is nothing more than a direct implementation of orders from the Zionist and American agencies, under the so-called "conditions for lifting sanctions," which include eliminating the Palestinian resistance presence in Syria and expelling anyone who refuses to engage in the new American-Zionist Middle East project.
We in the Syrian Popular Resistance affirm the following:
1. We hold al-Julani and his gangs fully responsible for the safety of Palestinian leaders.
2. We hold the American and Zionist administration politically and criminally responsible for these crimes, as well as all mercenaries and agents involved with them.
