Over 1 million people have been killed, with Ankara yet to apologise for its crimes and offer reparations. Even worse in the recent years, an eastern aggressor known as Azerbaijan has committed ethnic cleansing in Nagorno-Karabakh, showing these memories are not far away.
Having Armenian friends in real life, taken part in protests and being aware that our nations have had similar struggles, I consider it important to remember their tragedies. In the coming days, you should expect a post exposing Azerbaijan’s lobbying efforts to whitewash its international reputation.

- The Wagah land border will be closed with immediate effect, all transit is suspended without exception. Pakistanis with valid visas could return through that route by 30 April.
- All visas under the SAARC Visa Exemption Scheme (SVES) issued to Indian nationals are deemed canceled, with the exception of Sikh pilgrims who frequently travel to the country to visit religious sites. Indians have also 48 hours to leave.
- Military officials in Islamabad are declared persona non grata and have to leave the country immediately.
- Pakistan’s airspace would be closed with immediate effect for all Indian owned or Indian operated airlines. All trade with India, including to and from any third country, has also been suspended.

🇮🇳 Indian security forces launched a massive hunt on Wednesday for militants suspected of yesterday’s attack, with New Delhi pledging a strong response.

A minimum of 16 Kalibrs, 15 Kh-101s, and 6 Iskander-Ms were used.
Missiles impacted targets in Pavlohrad (Dnipropetrovsk Oblast), Kharkiv City, Ozerne (Zhytomyr Oblast), Kyiv City, Shepetivka (Khmelnytskyi Oblast), Starokostyantyniv (Khmelnytskyi Oblast) and Skalat (Ternopil Oblast).
Among the targets were airfields, energy infrastructure and probably defence infrastructure.
6 Tu-95MS strategic bombers took part in launching Kh-101 cruise missiles.
3 carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles, likely including at least one submarine, took part in launching Kalibr cruise missiles.

🇹🇷 A strong earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 shook Constantinople, Turkey’s AFAD disaster agency said, in one of the strongest quakes in recent years. The epicenter was in the area of Silivri, some 80 kilometres to the west of the city.
There were no immediate reports of damage, but people evacuated buildings as the quake hit and shook the city, located on the European and Asian shores of the Bosphorus strait. TRGT reported that one person had been injured as a result of jumping off a balcony during the earthquake.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Vladimir Putin declared a cessation of all hostilities from 18:00 Moscow time today until 00:00 on 21 April and urged Ukraine to support it.
He announced Moscow is pausing all military operations in the main battlefields and hinted that Ukraine’s final stance will reveal its willingness to negotiate. However, Ukrainian sources are already reporting violations of the truce.
