The Belgorod Brit talks about the decline of the US Empire, and the parallels with the decline of that other Atlantic Empire, the British. The public face of the Empire masks the growing understanding of the US elites, that their real power is rapidly diminishing.

In the podcast, BB further describes the crisis of confidence playing out at the top of US society. He then introduces you to the new pretenders to European global domination - a united Europe. Project number one is to defeat and occupy Russia, then the Americans will be put back in their place. BB describes why this is a fantasy.

The Belgorod Brit explains Russian politics and power structures, and the culture of power. He touches on religious tolerance and the role of political parties in Russia. Stability and the interests of the majority are the driving forces behind decisions made at the top.

In the podcast, BB examines the reason why public dissent is not something you will find often in Russia. Russia views foreign ideas with deep suspicion, as history has shown them that foreign interference in Russia is mostly negative and occasionally catastrophic. BB explains how the culture of privacy, and public deportment contribute to the Western idea that Russia is a totalitarian society. This willful misunderstanding of Russian culture just increases Russian mistrust of the West. BB talks Navalny, the CIA, and feminism, and the downside of national chauvanism.

The Belgorod Brit goes all argumentative. He breaks down the various reasons to argue, and he sets out the effects on the people involved. When should you engage in dispute, more importantly, when shouldn't you?

In the podcast, BB describes the different types of arguments you might encounter. One, not based on reality, is sophistry. If you have ever been told that you can be all that you want to be, or that you can do anything if you put your mind to it, then you need a dose of BB, taken aurally. He also talks about how we have lost sight of the reasonable proposition, that people who agree with us on one thing may well disagree with us on everything else.

The fanaticism at the heart of Western power politics is a reflection of our increasing disdain for the role of empathy in our society. The relentless and unreflective projection of the self leads to fanaticism, expressed by an unwillingness to take into account any idea that doesn't correspond to our own.

In the podcast, BB charts the rise of Western fanaticism from the barbarian takeover of the Western Roman Empire, through the religious schisms and the crusades. He talks about purity and how the West invented Holy War in its most aggressive form. He shows how this mutated into racism and the modern oligarchy.

The Belgorod Brit deals with all the 'Yalta' talk. Once again, the West tries to draw an analogy with WW2 only to get it all wrong. BB outlines the purpose of the 3 major conferences that took place during the war, and their purpose, before explaining why the Yalta Conference bears no relation to the situation in Ukraine. Most obviously, the Yalta meeting involved three allied powers deciding on the future of a defeated European coalition. The Germans were pointedly not invited. The US is the chief belligerent in this scenario, and fills the role of Nazi Germany.

In the podcast, BB outlines the real goals of the US in proferring peace talks, a freezing of the conflict along the lines of the Korean War, freeing itself for a renewed conflict with Iran on behalf of its owner, Israel. Will the Russians play along? No.

The Belgorod Brit turns his attention to the bankers. The financiers are here to lead us into a brave new future, where we will know the price of everything and the value of nothing. Allowing the bankers to run an economy is akin to giving pirates control of the navy, or allowing prisoners to run the prison.

In the podcast, BB explains the concept of money, and lists the scams and frauds that brought the financiers to parasitical power. Just because you call your new flavours of bank 'Blackrock' and 'State Street', it doesn't mean that it's not a bank. Forget immigrants, stop talking about transgender people, it's a distraction from the real threat to your safety and the lives of your children, greedy psychopathic moneymen.

The Belgorod Brit explains the reason why demographic decline is accelerating, despite people living well and being reasonably healthy. Young people, particularly women, have adopted a very commoditised view of the world, and have come to view personal relationships as consumer experiences - if my friend or partner does not satisfy my specific requirements, then I will replace them with a better version. I require money, therefore someone must supply it...

In the podcast, BB goes suggests some good reasons for this, and lays the blame and solution to this issue squarely where it belongs. He tells you what he tells his students. For free.

The Belgorod Brit compares two operations that were going on in March 1945. One was Operation Varsity, the largest airborne operation of the war, which was carried out by the US and the UK (including Canadians) and involved 16,000 soldiers. The other was the 'East Prussian Offensive' carried out by the Red Army, liberating northern Poland and annexing Konigsberg to the Soviet Union, which involved 1.6 million Soviet and Polish soldiers. The Soviet and Polish forces faced half a million well-motivated and heavily armed Nazis, where the Western Allies faced 8,000 Germans, half of whom immediately surrendered, because they hadn't murdered any Anglo-Saxon grandparents and their grandchildren, unlike in the East.

In the podcast, BB explains why minor military operations are being trumpeted in the West, while the Soviet war is being ignored and even completely re-written to suggest that the Nazis were on the Allied side against Russia! The Belgorod Brit cuts through the Trump tariffs with an explanation so simple, even he understood it. Tariffs are a straightforward tax on your own consumers, designed to create a significant price gap between imported and homegrown products. In order for a tariff to help local production, the tariff must be set at a level where it is cheaper to buy local, and there must be local production capacity for the target product. Last I checked, there is no US chocolate, coffee, or vanilla production.

In the podcast, BB explains what the purpose of the tariffs might actually be. Raising domestic prices will drive Americans into debt and poverty faster than before, and loan defaults will free up more land to be bought by the new banks. The move to Western neo-feudalism has gone from a trot to a canter.
