America has to be realistic about where we are right now after decades of endless wars that led to loss of prestige, thousands of human lives, and massive other resources. We cannot afford to overextend ourselves any longer.
America First is concept that emerged during the Great War (WWI) to reflect a desire to prioritize American interests and attempt to remain neutral in international conflicts.
This is not meant to say one must be anti-war. But speaking for myself, I am anti-Stupid war. Fighting for peace requires an intangibility of spiritual fortitude that only comes when one has faced the sacrifices of war. For so many Americans, the struggle and sacrifices of endless, losing wars have been very real.
We now need to seriously focus on America First and get our house in order (and that is a task that won’t be easy and will require every citizen to weigh in).
Listen to this short statement by a warrior who knows war Doug Macgregor wisdom millions of Americans need to hear.
“The two most powerful warriors are patience and time” and we have neither of them working for us at this moment in history.
