Situation north of Donetsk: Tors'ke remains under full control of Ukrainian army. During the first weekend of April, Russian army managed to infiltrate the northern part of the locality, but was unable to establish itself due to the high presence of drones and the Ukrainian counter-attack. Russian forces are currently securing the ‘Bakai’ ravine from which to access the last heights to the north-east.

Konstantynopil Direction

The village garrison continues to heroically hold their positions.

Overall control is at about 60%. There’s a lot of grey zone.

Enemy infantry groups are constantly infiltrating the Kostyantynopil–Bahatyr highway.

Mostly, the scum don’t manage to reach the road because they die before that.

But sometimes they do make it and even try to dig in. Although the outcome is always the same — a ticket to Kobzon’s concert.

Towards Oleksiivka, the enemy is trying to infiltrate not only with infantry groups but also with vehicles.

In the direction of Odradne, the context has shifted somewhat after the liberation of Dniproenerhiya.

Now the enemy will once again try to break through to the village via Bahatyr, head-on. And that’s exactly what they’re already trying to do.

The enemy appears to be preparing to intensify offensive actions in the Donetsk region.
In the Pokrovsk direction, we recently observed about 150 enemy motorcycle groups.
Before that, there were also quite a few of these groups in the Orikhiv direction.
However, it seems to me that the enemy will place its main focus on four directions going forward: Lyman, Siversk, Chasiv Yar, and Toretsk.
The mass motorcycle attacks are, so to speak, a “test run” to assess their effectiveness.
So far, their effectiveness is low, and considering the occupiers’ losses — it’s horrific. But who over there is really counting the losses?
In the Lyman direction, there are mass infantry attacks with an average loss rate of about one battalion of occupiers per day. Sometimes even more than a battalion.
Next, I’m sure we’ll see vehicles — attempts at mass breakthroughs using armored units.
The Siverskyi Donets–Donbas canal and essentially the entire Siversk direction will be in focus. It’s possible they’ll try to punch their way through with armor all the way to the Oskil River from Zherebets, since the infantry groups have started to slow down there.
Overall, the enemy’s strategic offensive toward the Sloviansk–Kramatorsk agglomeration was initially planned for summer to autumn.
But we are already witnessing preparations for this offensive in the spring–early summer.
Why is the occupier in such a hurry? Could it be that they want to achieve their minimum strategic goals (complete occupation of Donetsk region) already this year?
I don’t think so. The main objective is to exhaust our potential and prevent us from even planning our own actions. After that, they aim to seize the strategic initiative and continue to “squeeze” us. And not just in Donetsk.
We’ll continue monitoring the movements of the enemy’s “elite” units, which are now trying to enter the buffer zone in the Sumy region — the 7th, 76th, and 106th Air Assault Divisions, the 83rd Independent Air Assault Brigade, and the 155th Naval Infantry Brigade of the Pacific Fleet.
If this group shows up somewhere between Bilohorivka and Chasiv Yar, then it will be safe to say the enemy’s strategic offensive has entered its main phase.

Sumy Direction as of 21.04.25: Fighting in Gornali and the Krasnoyaruzhsky District...

The main events took place in two locations (without a pause for a ceasefire). Our forces continued the liberation of Gornali, while the enemy attempted to re-enter Popovka and Dyleyevka.

Fighting continues in Gornali since the morning. Meanwhile, in the Krasnoyaruzhsky district of Belgorod region, the enemy got "smashed in the face" again.

The Kursk operation has, de facto, reached its logical conclusion.
Honor to all who took part!
It was unexpected, impressive, and timely!
The Defense Forces protected Pokrovsk because a significant number of enemy reserves did not go there but were instead sent to the Kursk region.
This operation disrupted the enemy's plans to advance toward Kharkiv.
Most importantly, the assigned objectives were achieved—something that hadn't happened since November 2022.
Now, a large number of our mobile and well-trained units will gradually become available for other directions.
Moving forward, the operation in the territory of the Kursk People's Republic continues in the form of a sanitary zone to prevent a breakthrough into the Sumy region.
The dominant heights are under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and that is a good thing.

The Ministry of Defense reports that our military has hit a facility where they were testing the Ukrainian OTRK "Sapsan" - a project that has been in development since 2006. Its creation was accompanied by constant delays, underfunding and scandals.
