I wasn’t familiar with this story. As you would expect, it’s completely unlike the Karmelo Anthony case. Allison Caysen was evidently jumped by five boys with a latino ringleader, Joe Ramirez.
Yesterday, witnesses testified that Caysen had no interest in fighting and that Ramirez and his friends had a reputation for violence and aggression. Caysen was carrying a knife for protection because Ramirez had already made violent threats towards him.
