Footage making the rounds that originated from Ukrainian intelligence agencies and was shared by Zelensky himself, purporting to show a Chinese soldier fighting on behalf of Russia in Sudzha. Ukraine is attempting to spin the footage into some sort of proof that the Chinese are permitting soldiers to freely join the war on behalf of Russia, with Zelensky alleging "We have information there are more Chinese national units within the occupier's units than just 2", with the common demands from the usual suspects online that the United States and Europe must immediately mobilize and invade Russia.
The footage, if genuine, would show nothing more than yet another mercenary trying to seek their fortune in the Donbass; hardly anything new or worthy of attempting to gin up a hot war with another nuclear global superpower. Regardless, Mainland Chinese mercenaries have been in the Donbass alongside their ROC counterparts for years, fighting on either side. Subscribers are sure to remember the Taiwanese and Hong Kong based mercenaries that have been fighting on behalf of Ukraine and were famously some of the most published faces of the "International Legion" when it first formed.
Once again, yet another nothingburger story of some random Asian fighter being found in the Donbass, spun out in such a way by NAFO propagandists and mediaites to insinuate that all the world's boogeymen have joined together to bully poor Ukraine. (4-8-25)
