Ukraine is not very rich in natural resources. It got very fertile soil, but minimal natural resources.
Only parts of Ukraine that have decent natural resources are in the East & already occupied by Russia.
Only region of Ukraine with decent natural resources that remains under Ukraine's control is Dnepropetrovsk region. However, Russian army is just few kilometers away from its borders now and will soon expand their offensive there.
These are not happy news, but that is the actual factual reality, sadly.
