Chancellor Rachel Reeves has announced plans to reform the Agriculture Relief Inheritance Tax, which may lead to major consequences for smaller firms.
This means that people inheriting assets over £1m can expect to pay significantly more, causing concerns that many may quit the farming business.
This could also raise the food prices up drastically, and put a strain on the UK’s supply chain.
Those who own assets over £1m will face a 20pc inheritance tax bill.
Many farmers have clapped back on this decision, stating, “Just because a farm business has valuable assets, it does not mean that all farmers themselves are wealthy.
“The average farmer’s return on capital investment is less than 1pc.
“This is a tax on hard-working family farms and puts the future of many farm businesses under threat."
The changes are arranged to be enforced in April 2026.

70% of cases are dropped by rape and sexual assault survivors due to delays in their trial.
Regardless, Police & Crime Commissioner of Norfolk Sarah Taylor has stated that she is “reassured by the way Norfolk Constabulary supports victims of rape and sexual offences.”
This is only half the treatment I have experienced by Norfolk Police after I reopened my case last year.

A gay and transgender youth charity is being sued over allegations that its negligence led to child sexual abuse.
A man, who cannot be named due to a court order, has lodged an action against LGBT Youth Scotland at the Court of Session, Scotland’s highest court.
It is understood the man is suing for more than £100,000, and claims he fell prey to abuse for which the charity is responsible.
In September, it was revealed that the charity had published a guide to “coming out” as transgender that had been co-written by Andrew Easton, a convicted paedophile who had downloaded and distributed indecent images of children, including newborn babies.
In 2009, its former chief executive James Rennie was imprisoned for life after he was convicted for child sex offences, including carrying out and videoing a sexual assault on a baby

Councils have advised parents to give more money and less jail time to white children playing monopoly, in order to teach them about racial privilege.
They could also be advised to be given a head start in buying property.
This does not teach children racial privilege. It teaches children that race is all they will ever be limited to in life - black kids will never succeed, and white kids are always racist. It determines your potential.
Is this truly what we want to teach the future generation of leaders?

We have discovered that this is Rianna Jane, a sexual assault awareness poet. She seems to post most of her work on TikTok.
After this assault, the police refused to move her away, and told James off for “having the phone too close to her face.” This footage proves this as false.
Despite this woman doing little-to-no research on Islam, religion, white supremacy and Tommy Robinson, she spouted her mouth anyway, and made these interactions physical.

22-year-old Tyrell Chester (left) and 23-year-old Enock Kitopi (right) attacked two victims in their late teens in an alleyway near Silver Road.
Kitopi used a large Bowie knife into the forehead of the 19-year-old victim, then proceeded to stab him in the chest.
The younger, 18, was stabbed in the arm. This was so severe that the bone was left protruding as he attempted to defend himself. Chester attempted to stab him in the throat.
Both victims remarkably survived this attack, which took place in September 2022. The court was told that both attackers were members of a Norwich gang known as the ‘306.’
Kitopi was jailed for 8 years and 6 months, while Chester was jailed for 7 years and 7 months.
