I find in life that there are plenty of people that are “always there”, but provide no real substance to the conversation. They want to be part of something without providing valuable input to the situation, or put in the hard work to accomplish the task at hand. They feel that simply being present makes them valuable.
Always “rogering up” does not make you valuable. Being hardworking, detailed oriented and mastering your craft makes you valuable. Be the person that can be counted on to accomplished the job, not just be there to take up space. Make yourself a commodity, an asset, the go to guy.
