Recently, there has been growing public attention surrounding the ministry of Shawn Bolz, and a few individuals have inquired about my position on this matter.
I had the opportunity to meet Shawn many years ago, and I enjoyed ministering alongside him and hosting him at various meetings over time. During that period, we had many meaningful conversations and interactions. At that time, I was unaware of certain activities he was involved in that are now being brought to light.
When I began hearing concerning reports, I made the decision to distance myself from any further involvement with him and ceased offering my endorsement when approached by other ministers or believers who sought to engage with his ministry.
Considering recent publicly confirmed allegations regarding deceptive practices in acquiring “words of knowledge” and confirmed reports of sexual misconduct and clergy abuse, I am publicly withdrawing my endorsement of Shawn Bolz’s ministry. I deeply regret that I did not make this statement sooner, and I sincerely apologize if my failure to do so earlier has caused any unnecessary pain or confusion for some.
My love and prayers have been with all those who have been hurt or victimized by this mistreatment, as well as with the Body of Christ, who has been affected by confusion and mistrust. I also lift up Shawn, his wife, and their family in prayer. May we all be drawn closer to His heart, experiencing God’s love, purity, healing, and deliverance.
