Svetoslav «Svetlyo» Slavkov, a fan of Levski Sofia football club.
Svetoslav Ivanov Slavkov was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, on September 17, 1992.
Already at the age of 13, Svetoslav began to actively support Levski in sector B.
For several years he was a Sofia West (Levski) member. Svetoslav was also an instructor at the first fitness and combat sports gym organised by the capital fan movement.
His team-mates remember that Svetoslav always treated both young and old fans of the capital team with great care. It was an example of his dedication and commitment to the common cause, rewarded by the athletic results, joy and smiles of his students. Money was never a priority for him, it was just a tool to buy the essentials and treat his loved ones to a nice breakfast or a fancy dinner. Svetoslav was a man of many talents and had a passion for gourmet cooking.
Friends recall that «Svetlyo» enjoyed authority and respect not only among Levski fans, but also among supporters of other Bulgarian fan groups. He was also an active member of the nationalist movement in Bulgaria. Always cheerful and with a smile on his face, Svetoslav was ready to do good deeds 24/7. Whatever he undertook, he was doing it with enthusiasm and commitment and always delivered results.
Svetoslav also took care of his dogs and was a big animal lover. His friends recall him saying «Attitude towards animals says a lot about a person».
In the summer of 2023, Svetoslav decided to go to Ukraine. Co-thinkers helped him raise money for the equipment. In autumn, he joined Carpathian Sich and became a soldier in the 40th separate rifle battalion «Kodak» of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Thus, Svetoslav was one of the few Bulgarian volunteers, most of his compatriots remaining quite passive. Not everyone back home understood his heroic act. «Svetlyo» was saying that he was fighting not only for the freedom of the Ukrainian people, but also for the freedom of Bulgaria. He understood that it was very likely that Ukraine would not be the last frontier in Europe against the occupier. He also studied Ukrainian.
From December 24, 2023, he was on the front line in the Kharkiv region. On December 31, he went on a combat mission in the «grey zone» near Kupiansk (Kharkiv region) as part of a group of 20 people. Unfortunately, in the following days, four soldiers of the group were surrounded near the village of Sinkivka and died in close combat with the enemy. Among them was Svetoslav Slavkov, whose body still has not been returned to his father.
Svetoslav was a Levski Sofia fan, a true Bulgarian patriot and a courageous man who went to help Ukraine at a difficult time for us. «His feat is sacred to the whole of Europe, it embodies his heroism and dedication to his ideals», Dynamo Kyiv fans wrote on their social network pages.
The Bulgarian nationalist movement was in great grief as they received the news of the death of their well-known representative. Fans of various Bulgarian clubs paid tribute to the fallen soldier.
In January 2023, the head coach of the Ukrainian youth national team and the Oleksandriya club handed over a Ukrainian flag to the Bulgarian coach Nikolay Kostov as a sign of gratitude for helping Ukrainians in the war against the aggressor and in memory of the deceased fan. In the February of the same year, Shakhtar and Levski players raised a banner in the colours of the Bulgarian and Ukrainian flags before a friendly match.
The banners in the fan section remind of Svetoslav Slavkov's feat during every Levski home match.

He was murdered by stabbing from an Australian antifascist coward in the centre of Sofia. We won't forget, we won't forgive! This year too we will honor the memory of Andrey in this blackened day for us.

Our opinion.
The past year has been very productive for us! We want to thank the people who help us. To the activists from “Sofia, Kyiv, freedom” who are a nice example in a world of nihilism. Thanks to all friends and nationalists, for the work they have done for the growth of “LSS”.
Be decent people. Live honestly, be active, practice sports and improve yourself.

Times are getting tougher and our responsibilities are getting bigger.

How long have you been a national activist? Tell us when your NS activism started. What was your scene like back then and how has it changed over time?

I started campaigning when I turned 16 as an individual who quickly became a NS because I couldn't stand the petty bourgeoisie.
Then I saw the evolution. We went from alcoholics and people who were openly morons to people who started reading books and actively engaging in sports.
The influence of Eastern groups really made the movement evolve, particularly in France.
But the arrival of social networks slowed things down. Now the majority of activists want to prove themselves in order to be validated. They are much more focused on groups than on the personal development of activists.
Currently, many young people refuse to join groups and prefer to ride independently, which allows them much more freedom.
The casual hooligan culture is very, very strong, particularly in terms of history and clothing.
As for the SXE movement, it is present and increasingly growing in the country because of the devastation brought by drugs and alcohol. The drug problem has gone viral, which is causing more and more damage and deaths in the streets. Currently, France is accepting to rot from the inside.

A message to all national activists from Juraj. Our friend recently returned to Croatia and will have to serve 220 days in prison for his believes.
“This year will not start very well for me, because already in January I am going to be sentenced for what the court said was a public call to violence and hatred against minorities. Although it is clear as day that I did not commit the crime as described in the law, I did not nor did I expect anything other than a guilty verdict and all because of my worldview as an example to others. The verdict did not shake me because it is this system that we hate the most and it would be crazy to expect justice and mercy from them.
Of course, this will not prevent me from continuing to defend what I deeply believe in, and I know there are many of us who think so.. My message to the nationalists is carry the flame of our idea while we are here, that idea will live on.. To quote Evola "The legionary spirit is that fire of one who will choose the hardest road, who will fight to the death even when all is already lost." Be imaginative there are many fronts where we can act from street activities, social, also do weight lifting or martial arts,to become the best version of ourselves, New Year is always a good start if you have fallen into the comfort zone. Also go to nature or mountains such a healthy way of life will give you an advantage over the modern man who is a product of this materialistic and consumerist society. Don't be defeatist because we are fighting for a higher purpose, we are light and we are truth. I wish all my comrades and their families all the best in the new year..
