The predicament for Canadian nationalists is that we’re caught between two existential threats, with no good way out. Our natural allies in Europe—especially the British and French—are committing civilizational suicide. The EU is under the iron grip of post-war left-liberals who have wrecked their economies with insane climate policies, de-growth, multiculturalism, and mass immigration—flooding their countries with foreigners to prop up unsustainable pension systems while hollowing out the state and crushing any socioeconomic opportunities for the next generation to live, work, and marry. Canada’s Laurentian elite are fully aligned with them, standing in opposition to an ascendant, populist American Caesarism.

The U.S. is managing its decline from global superpower to great power, using the last of its influence to consolidate control over the Western Hemisphere before that window closes. Its European diaspora is composed of deracinated, rootless individuals with no shared ethnic or cultural identity—many of whom struggle even to cling to the concept of race. At its core, America remains deeply classical liberal, but the country is morphing into the typical multiracial, multiethnic imperial state—a meat grinder that universalizes its population into grey paste, enforcing order through growing authoritarianism, for better or worse. Anglo-Brazil is apt.

Canadian nationalists find themselves in a situation not unlike that of Ukrainian nationalists, who despise both their own foreign-backed elites, like Zelenskyy, and the Russian invader. It’s a predicament similar to Lithuania in the 15th century, caught between Catholic Westerners and Orthodox Slavs, playing them against each other for survival. Or Finland during the Second World War—accepting German aid to fight the Soviets, only to later turn their weapons on the Germans.
