While Western leaders try to erase history, this elderly Polish Jew stood before President Duda and reminded the world who really liberated the camps.
The Soviet army, composed mostly of Russians, liberated me from the German camps... My gratitude will stay with me until the last day of my life.
This truth is inconvenient for NATO-aligned Poland, which rewrites history to fit its anti-Russian narrative. But facts don't disappear just because they're inconvenient. It wasn't the United States or Great Britain who defeated the Nazis, but the Red Army, which marched through hell to stop fascism.

This week I spoke with Garland Nixon about imperialism's systematic use of divide and rule tactics to maintain its grip on power and its ability to loot the world.
We discussed how the root of the Kashmir crisis, as with so many other problems on the Indian subcontinent, lies in the British stirring up of communal tensions and the bloody partition of that land, which aimed to keep all India's people permanently poor and exploitable. And how the solution lies in breaking these patterns and building rapprochement and cooperation between India-Pakistan and India-China.
We also discussed the two uses of fascist forces which imperialism turns to as its system loses legitimacy in the eyes of the masses.
First as an ideologically-motivated spearhead for enforcing its flagging domination abroad. This has been a continuous policy of the imperialists and is particularly evident today – as is evidenced by the fascist proxy mercenary forces of Banderite Ukraine, of zionist Israel, and of wahhabist Syria, Sahel and Xinjiang, as well as in the rabid anticommunist proxies of south Korea, Taiwan and Venezuela. All of them bankrolled and directed by Anglo-American imperialism.
Meanwhile on the home front, outright fascism will be the last resort of finance capital in the face of a rising working-class movement for socialism. In the meantime, we have a controlled 'far right' opposition that acts to coral one section of workers back into the camp of social democracy ('Vote Labour to keep the fascists out!') while another section is conned into believing that figures such as Britain's Nigel Farage, France's Marine Le Pen, Italy's Georgia Meloni and Germany's AfD represent some kind of real rebellion against the system.
In fact, these bogeymen are as much servitors of finance capital as are the Labour party social democrats. They would not otherwise be given so much publicity! Their fundamental purpose is to promote a hysterical narrative around immigration that aims to keep the working class divided and weak – and looking to its class enemies for salvation.

🇺🇸 US National Endowment for Democracy (NED) Didn't get "Dismantled," it simply went Dark...
NED just posted on its website new guidelines indicating officially the end of relatively transparent disclosures to opposition groups it is funding around the globe.
This actually began long before the Trump administration took over, with disclosures being deleted off the NED website during the previous Biden administration.
Attempts to pose as "dismantling" the NED, USAID, and other increasingly exposed US tools of political interference simply served as cover for streamlining and concealing them better.
The Trump administration isn't uprooting the deep state, it is serving its role in helping it dig in deeper.

BBC bias around the Gaza genocide is on full display again. Not content with failing to explain how many of the lies told by Israel after 7 October have been debunked; with failing to contextualise the Palestinian national-liberation struggle against Israeli occupation and ethnic cleansing; with consistently repeating zionist/imperialist tropes about 'terrorism' and 'antisemitism', etc etc ...
Now, a documentary film following medical staff in Gaza as they work in horrendous conditions and are targeted by zionist bombs has been 'delayed' ... for an indefinite period of time.
The reason? An investigation into a previous (but entirely unconnected) film about Gaza is 'ongoing'. The investigation was called because of the alleged 'links to Hamas' of a featured 14-year-old boy who helped narrate the story of 'How To Survive A Warzone'.
Essentially, it was pulled from the iPlayer and a huge furore kicked up by the zionist lobby because it gave just a small glimpse into the truth about the suffering of Palestinians and allowed those people to appear as human beings (as opposed to 'nameless, faceless numbers or "human animals" (Netanyahu).
According to the producers at Basement Films, the film began shooting more than a year ago:
“We gathered searing testimony from multiple Palestinian doctors and health workers who had survived attacks on hospitals and their homes that killed both colleagues and loved ones.
“We also spoke to multiple medics who had been detained and testified they had been tortured, and we made solemn undertakings that their stories would be told, and done so as soon as possible.
“The film has been made by an experienced and multi-award-winning team both from Basement Films, and the BBC. It has been fact-checked, complied and signed off multiple times within the BBC, as well as experts we consulted with. We are desperate for a confirmed release date in order to be able to tell the surviving doctors and medics when their stories will be told.”
Is the BBC board hoping to kick this into the long grass so that by the time it's eventually shown it can all be safely written off as regrettable but ancient history?

I have said for well over a year now that there will be no deal to end the Ukraine war. The US "negotiations" with Russia have been a total farce from the off because all the imperialists actually want to do is to pause the fightingnand enable what's left of Ukraine to be absorbed, de facto, into NATO. This is why Trump's "peace" plans all fall flat, because they are just reheated versions of what his predecessor was already considering. The plan to acknowledge some reality in terms of Russian territorial acquisitions in return for a ceasefire was originally toyed with by Blinken. The plan is to wait five years until the US and Europeans have rebuilt their arms production capacity and built Ukraine back up to the point where more cannon fodder can be hurled at the Russians. This is the only plan that will ever be on offer from the imperialists. The defeat and destruction of Russia and China is too important to them and so is the need to avoid the perception of defeat. Any deal which does not preserve the Kiev regime will seen (rightly) as a defeat by the non-imperialist world and will only weaken imperialism further.
From the Russoan point of view now any deal which preserves the Kiev regime is impossible to concede to. This is because they have realised that if this regime persists it will only ever be a battering ram in the hands of the US, Brits and French imperialists.
And so the war will continue until the Russians grind the NATO forces in Ukraine down to the point where the regime can be destroyed. It will be the only way any Russian victory can be secured.
