In the LAGOP we had a big mess of an election for our Republican party board positions. We got a chair person elected. But we still need to elect the first Vice chair and the second Vice chair. Our new chairperson, Roxanne Hoge, wants to conduct that election for the remaining two seats via online electronic voting using opavote.
I'm likely the most informed and top election integrity expert for LA county who lives in LA county. It's insulting to me that she is trying to conduct the election for those remaining board seats via non-transparent and insecure online voting using software from a company that obviously leans left (look up opavote).
I'm running for first vice chair myself, with the intent that I want to build an army out of the grassroots as part of the Los Angeles Republican party and I want to fix our elections through cleaning up the voter rolls and other election integrity efforts.
It's a slap in my face to have our internal Republican elections be done in such an insecure manner, with online machines.
Roxanne is behaving like a dictator. She is insisting on voting online. She is causing division in our county party at the onset of our new term. Many of the voting members of the LAGOP do not want to use machines or do this online. Many of us recognize that it's insecure and non-transparent. But she will not relent. She insists on doing it her way or the highway. And that is how you caused a vision at the beginning of this 2-year term of our new LAGOP Central Committee.
But the encouraging part to me is that 3 years ago we had less than 20% of the LAGOP voting members voting conservatively. Now we are at roughly 50%. We will take back the LAGOP. If not now, we will in 2026 for sure. We cannot give up. Trump says to never ever give up. The opportunities that God has put before us cannot be neglected. We must move forward and continue the fight.
We are so privileged to live in these times, to see the things we see, and be tools in God's hands.
