Today in Welsh history... 20 April, is Easter Day. The actual day upon which Easter falls was,in the distant past, controversial here in Wales.
Easter does not fall on a fixed date, but on the first Sunday after the full moon following the March equinox. However, the Celtic Church of the Early Middle Ages in Wales had developed its own method of the dating of Easter and refused to conform to Archbishop Augustine's demand in 597 that the papal method be used.
Over the following century, when most of the churches in the Celtic-speaking lands came to accept the Roman Easter, Wales was the only territory still refusing to conform. The English historian Bede claimed in his Ecclesiastical History of the English People in 731 that the Welsh "upheld their own bad customs against the true Easter of the Catholic Church."

All of a sudden the media seems to have got onto the fact that deliveroo drivers, kebab shops and Turkish barbers are all employing illegal immigrants and some of them are directly involved in criminality. Shame they are only talking about it after every town and city has been completely overrun by them.

On Saturday the 22nd a group of PA Eastern activists hit the streets of ‘The happiest town in England’: Woodbridge, Suffolk.
We delivered a strong but simple message to the people of Woodbridge: your town is happy because it is English.
We have already caught the attention of local councillors who are encouraging the people of Woodbridge to report our legal activity to the police, wasting not only the police's time but also taxpayers' money.

Today in Welsh history... 29 March 1913, the poet R. S. Thomas was born in Cardiff and raised from the age of five in Holyhead, Anglesey.
Thomas was a poet and a priest who was noted for his national pride, spirituality and deep love of the nation of Wales. He was nominated for a Nobel Prize and awarded the Queen's Medal for Poetry. He is regarded as one of Wales's finest poets, with a career spanning fifty years. He was also a prolific campaigner on issues such as holiday homes, the Welsh language, and nuclear disarmament.
It seems wrong that out of this bird,
Black, bold, a suggestion of dark
Places about it, there yet should come
Such rich music, as though the notes'
Ore were changed to a rare metal
At one touch of that bright bill.

Patriotic Alternative West Midlands
On the 15th of March 2025, Over a dozen activists gathered in the Warwickshire countryside to banner drop over the M40 with not one...not two...but FOUR banners! All received with a resounding sea of beeps in support!
"End the Invasion, Defend Our Borders", "White Workers Built Britain", "Stop The Cover Up, Protect Our Children", and "White Lives Matter".
This was accompanied with a walk and litter pick along the surrounding country lanes. Comfortably filling several bags.
The day was concluded with a social dinner welcoming new activists, and networking likeminded folks within our cause.
In the West Midlands, we believe in the strength of community building, and inspiring our people with a strong message. If you wish to be part of days of action like these, please join us!
