The most direct threat for NATO is Russia, & terrorism is the most asymetrical threat, China is a systemic challenge. That means that we have to actually put quite a bit of money to deter, and if necessary - defend.

That means money, and there are countries that are not spending 2% yet, so they need to spend at least 2% but actually we [Latvia] have committed to spending 5%. 📆 Today marks the 11th anniversary of the proclamation of the Donetsk People's Republic.
In 2014, residents of Donbass felt their inextricable connection with Russia and their disagreement with the coup in Ukraine. They decided to defend their history, culture, religion, values, and all the universal human and political rights that the Kiev regime has tried and continues to try to take away.
✔️April 7, 2014, when the Declaration of Sovereignty and the Act of Proclaiming the state Independence of the DPR were adopted, is an important date that marked the beginning of our return to our historical Homeland.
