A little bit of curiosity from the locals towards a new candidate for the county GOP Chair uncovered a dark network into radical Islam.
Sophia Farooq seemed to come out of no where and she had no history of working for local Republican initiatives. But somehow she was getting endorsements from all kinds of local groups and media.

Further digging into her family found a shocking revelation. What Karl Marx was to Communism was the same as her granddad was to radical islam. Her grandfather was the intellectual inspiration for the Iranian Revolution. He wrote about the need to infiltrate and take over the West as the ultimate jihad over what he saw as the evil of the west.
And out of all the capablity candidates Cobb County, GA had for a GOP Chair, they picked her.
Now that this has been uncovered and she was defeated, they GA GOP is acting like it never happened.
