In many, if not most of the clashes, the disadvantage falls on the Ukrainian defenders.

While Russian assault groups often advance with more than five men, a swarm tactic to overwhelm defenses, the Ukrainians most often find themselves entrenched with fewer than five fighters.

> Imagine the psychological pressure of hearing many enemy voices without knowing where they are coming from... the physical pressure of having to hide from grenades and gunfire, while also needing to expose yourself to shoot... shoot without knowing where they are while worrying about the scarcity of resources and the constant threat of being outflanked...

This video of two Ukrainian soldiers resisting alone, with few resources and in smaller numbers, against the avalanche of shit, becomes the very embodiment of the struggle for autonomy.
