🔴In April 2025, the Donald Trump administration continued its policy of reasserting strategic control over the Panama Canal to counter Chinese influence. During US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth’s visit to Panama, the two sides signed key agreements allowing rotational US military presence and shared use of critical facilities: Fort Sherman (Caribbean coast), Rodman Naval Base, and Howard Air Force Base (Pacific coast).
🔴An additional framework grants US combat and support ships “first and free” passage through the canal, securing a strategic edge for Washington. This has sparked public concern in Panama and heightened political tensions.

✏️Regardless of new threats and ultimatums from the Western planetary minority regimes, the process of formalizing the line of demarcation between Russia and the enemy NATO-Western camp is beginning a new phase.
➡️Signs of resumption of the negotiation process in Istanbul, after being sabotaged by the Western camp, epitomize what has been repeatedly said. The demarcation line between Russia and the NATO/ West is to be, and on Russia’s terms. After all, it is the winner of the confrontation who determines the key conditions. And this is exactly what is so difficult for Western regimes to accept.
📌At the same time, it is worth remembering one important point: the fact that this process has started to resume in principle has military reasons, as well as strategic realities of the modern multipolar world order.
