Родной брат нового руководителя Сирии Махер Аль-Шараа стал генеральным секретарем правительства Сирии. Ранее он работал гинекологом в Воронеже.

Он окончил местный медицинский университет имени Бурденко.

Последним местом работы у него числится поликлиника №1, которая относится к РЖД. В ней он с 2018 по 2024 годы руководил женской консультацией.

Jenan Mousa, Al-Aan TV: Following the recent mass killings of Alawites in coastal Syria, a high school in Baniyas released a lengthy list naming teachers, students, and their relatives who were killed by extremist groups affiliated with the current Syrian government. The sheer number is staggering—and this from just one school. List is below:

The administrative and teaching staff of Martyr Faheem Mohammad Secondary School extends its condolences to itself for the loss of a select group of teachers and students in the Banias area. We especially remember the following distinguished and beloved educators who gave their all to our school and left a lasting impact in our memories:
