🇦🇫🇷🇺 — Russia officially removes the Afghan Taliban from its list of terrorist organizations and lifts the ban on it.

Salaam Alaikum Akhis/Ukhtis,
I’ve observed a troubling trend where Daeshi supporters or enemies of Islam twist beautiful Islamic stories to further their agendas, making Islam appear violent. One such story is the story of the Boy and the King, also known as Ashab al-Ukhdud (The People of the Ditch).
Summary of the Story:
A young boy, blessed by Allah with the ability to heal, was ordered by a tyrannical king to renounce his faith. The boy attributed his miracles to the will of Allah, enraging the king.
After several failed attempts to kill the boy, the boy instructed the king to gather the people, tie him to a tree, and shoot him with an arrow while declaring, "In the name of Allah, the Lord of the boy."
When the boy was killed, the people witnessed this act of faith and immediately believed in Allah. The king, enraged by their conversion, then had pits of fire dug and threw the believers in, ultimately martyring them for refusing to worship idols.
This story is a powerful testament to faith, sacrifice, and the strength of belief under oppression. Yet, extremists like ISIS have twisted this story to promote their violent agenda.
How ISIS Distorts the Story:
ISIS misinterprets the story, claiming:
“The boy killed himself as an act of Jihad to bring people to the faith, so suicide bombing is halal if it spreads Islam.”
But this interpretation is completely wrong
The boy did not kill himself; he was killed by the tyrannical king. He did not seek death for violence’s sake. Rather, he
allowed himself to be martyred in order to prove his faith and inspire others to believe in Allah.
Why ISIS's Claim is False:
Suicide is forbidden in Islam.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) clearly said:
“Whoever kills himself with something, will be punished with it in Hellfire.”
(Sahih Bukhari & Sahih Muslim)
Suicide bombing, which involves self-destruction, directly contradicts this teaching.
Martyrdom is not about seeking death.
Martyrdom in Islam refers to dying in the defense of faith or justice, often as a result of oppression by others. The boy in the story was martyred by the king, not seeking death for his own agenda. Suicide bombings, on the other hand, are acts of self-inflicted harm, which go against the true concept of martyrdom.
Suicide bombings kill innocent people..
ISIS claims that suicide bombings help spread Islam. But do bombings like the Manchester Arena attack bring people to Islam, or do they spread fear and hatred? Islam strictly forbids the killing of innocent people, as the Qur'an says:
“And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden, except by right.”
(Qur'an 17:33)
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) further stated:
“Do not kill women, children, or the elderly.”
(Sahih Muslim)
Suicide bombings kill innocent people which is haram.
Destruction is also haram.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) forbade the destruction of property and resources unless it was absolutely necessary in warfare. He said:
“Do not destroy trees, do not kill animals except for food, do not destroy homes or crops, and do not harm the innocent.”
(Sahih Muslim)
Suicide bombings, which destroy life and property, are clearly forbidden for example Manchester Arena.
Conclusion:
Suicide bombing is haram for several reasons:
It is a form of suicide, which is strictly prohibited in Islam.
It involves the unjust killing of innocents, which goes against the core principles of Islam.
True martyrdom is about dying for your faith or justice while enduring oppression, not about seeking death through violence.
The Boy and the King story is not about self-destruction; it’s about faith under oppression. The boy was killed by the tyrant, and his death was an act of sacrifice, not intentional violence.
ISIS distorts this story to justify their acts of terror, but the truth is clear: suicide bombing does not spread Islam; it causes harm, destruction, and fear.
May Allah guide us all to stay true to the path, not this evil twisted thing they say and label as Islam.

Salaam Alaikum Akhis/Ukhtis, apologies for the late reply, but here is the story that ISIS uses to twist beautiful stories into furthering their agenda of how suicide bombing is halal.
This story is about Saladin’s nephew, a Kurd, named Al Mu’azzam Isa.
The Muslim army was struggling against the Crusaders until one man came up with an idea. He volunteered to be put into a catapult, and his goal was to:
Land inside the enemy's base, disrupt or attack within, and possibly open the gate for Allah’s army.
Unfortunately, he broke his leg during the launch, but he caused a significant distraction, which helped Allah’s army to press the attack and win. His bravery boosted morale, and he became a symbol of heroism within the Muslim army.
Now, onto how ISIS uses this amazing story to twist their Hadith:
Like before, they say, "Since this man put himself into a catapult and was launched, it must mean suicide bombing is halal because that man threw himself into the air. What difference is there to a bomb vest?"
However, that is completely false and can be easily refuted. Here's why:
1. Allah's Command in the Qur'an:
For starters, Allah SWT says do not kill yourself in the Qur'an (4:29):
> And do not kill yourselves. Surely, Allah is Most Merciful
2. Killing innocent people
As said before, ISIS has killed lots of innocent people within these suicide attacks the famous one being the Manchester Arena bombing these attacks don’t help Islam one bit as said before, it makes people scared of Islam.
3. The Critical Difference in Intention:
The warrior did not intend to die; he was taking a dangerous risk to help the Muslim army. It was an act of bravery and sacrifice for the community, not an intentional act of self-destruction.
Intention matters in Islam. The man in the catapult was not seeking death but rather putting himself at risk to aid the battle effort. In contrast, a suicide bomber’s sole intention is to kill themselves, which makes it an act of self-destruction — something clearly forbidden in Islam.
4. Martyrdom (Shahada):
Killing yourself is not martyrdom. In Islam, martyrs die in battle while fighting in the cause of Allah, not by blowing themselves up.
True martyrdom (shahada) is when someone dies defending Islam or fighting for justice, while adhering to the ethical rules of war. Suicide bombing directly contradicts these teachings.
5. Damage to Islam’s Reputation:
Suicide attacks done under the name of Islam bring shame, fear, and hatred upon the religion. These acts do not reflect the true teachings of Islam, which is a religion of peace, mercy, and justice.
We, as Muslims, are commanded to be a mercy to mankind, not a source of terror. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is described in the Qur'an as a mercy to all the worlds (21:107), and we must reflect that in our actions.
6. The Rules of War in Islam:
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) established strict ethical guidelines for war, prohibiting the killing of women, children, monks, farmers, and any non-fighters. These rules are clear in the authentic Hadiths, and suicide attacks that kill civilians violate these teachings.
Hadith (Sahih Muslim):
> "Do not kill women, do not kill children, do not kill the elderly, do not kill the monks in their monasteries, do not kill those who are not fighting."
These teachings show that deliberate harm to innocents in the name of Islam is haram. Suicide bombings are a violation of these rules.
In Conclusion:
1. Suicide = haram — Allah prohibits it in the Qur'an and the Hadith.
2. Killing innocent people = haram — as outlined in the Qur'an (5:32) and the Prophet's teachings.
3. Breaking the prophet’s rules of war, = haram

The BIGGEST servant of Israel
1. During the 500 days of war against Gaza, he did not stop exporting oil from Azerbaijan to Israel for even a single day.
2. He renamed steel exports to Israel as "exports to Palestine" and continued them. The steel was used to produce weapons against Palestine and Lebanon.
3. While Yemen blocked food shipments to Israel, he sent food to the Israelis.
4. By supporting ISIS and HTS terrorists, he overthrew the Assad Government and cut off the supply of weapons from Iran to Hezbollah.
5. By overthrowing the Assad Government and destroying the Syrian army, he enabled Israel to seize large parts of Syrian territory.

Correct Understanding of Jihād and Takfīr
Jihād is one of the greatest deeds in Islām – but like every act of worship, it must follow conditions and guidelines.
❓ When is Jihād correct?
❓ What about Takfīr?
Shaykh Ibn ʿUthaymīn رحمه الله said:
Misunderstood jihād + ignorant takfīr = terrorism, not Islām.

Jihād is one of the greatest deeds in Islām – but like every act of worship, it must follow conditions and guidelines.
❓ When is Jihād correct?
• Under the authority of a Muslim ruler
• With ability, preparation, and proper intention
• Against legitimate enemies, not innocent Muslims
❓ What about Takfīr?
• It needs clear proof
• It is only for acts that clearly oppose Islām
• Takfīr is made by scholars, not individuals or groups
Shaykh Ibn ʿUthaymīn رحمه الله said:
“Launching ‘jihād’ without permission of the Muslim ruler is not jihād – it is chaos and misguidance.”

• Justice

Emotional Activism is Not the Salafi Way
🔥 Emotions alone do not lead to guidance.
The Khawārij were described by the Prophet ﷺ as very religious outwardly – yet they were the dogs of Hellfire.
Today, many activist groups scream about injustice, oppression, and revolution — but:

🎯 True reform comes from the Qur’ān, the Sunnah, and the understanding of the Salaf – not from protests, slogans, or angry videos.

Takfir is a heavy judgment, not a weapon for pride or anger. To declare someone outside the fold of Islam is to speak where only Allah has full knowledge. Be cautious, what you say of others, it may return to you. If you believe there is clear evidence, approach the matter with justice, but always try to think the best of your Muslim brothers and sisters. Give advice gently and privately before even considering takfir, especially if the matter is not serious. The path to truth is not through division, but through wisdom, patience and restraint.

Who Are the Khawārij and What Are Their Signs?
The Prophet ﷺ warned us about a group more dangerous to Islām than any enemy:
These are the Khawārij – the first extremists and terrorists.
Their signs include:
Making takfīr (declaring Muslims disbelievers) over sins
Rebelling against Muslim rulers
Shedding Muslim blood while claiming “jihād”
Harshness and no mercy in daʿwah
Ibn ʿAbbās رضي الله عنه debated them and exposed their ignorance.

... are not Salafī, not Sunni, and not upon the Qur’ān and Sunnah.
They mix takfīr, politics, revolutions, emotional speeches, and hatred for rulers.
