Huge part of the metal detecting hobby on the Eastern Front is finding fallen soldiers that were lost and forgotten after WW1 or WW2. The best scenario is to ID them and return to relatives. 2nd best scenario is to find them and rebury them in a proper cemetery with upmost respect. This clip is from 2023 where we found 3 blown up Soviet army soldiers on a side of a bunker. They are now reburied with all their belongings in a WW2 cemetery. Thanks a lot to @legenda.archaeology for helping with this one.

Horst Wessel

was a German student, fraternity member and SA Sturmführer. He wrote the lyrics of the song "The Flag Raised" - later called the Horst Wessel Song in his honor - which in 1933 became the national anthem of the Third Reich alongside the Deutschlandlied. The martyr of the Wessel movement became the ideal image of the National Socialist fighter through his life and death.
Horst Wessel was the son of Margarete Wessel and the Protestant pastor Dr. Wilhelm Ludwig Georg Wessel (1879-1922), who worked in the Bielefeld Pauluskirche from 1906 to 1908 and from 1913 at the historically important Berlin Nikolaikirche. Wessel's parents remained imperially minded, even after the November Revolution of 1918. In his last years of school, from 1922, he was active with the "Bismärckers" (the "Bismarck Youth" or "Bismarck League" was the youth organization of the national conservative DNVP) and shortly afterwards with the "Bund Wiking". Horst Wessel initially studied law for four semesters and was a fraternity member in the Corps Normannia Berlin and Corps Alemannia Vienna. However, he then gave up his studies and after 1928 was an unskilled laborer. He worked as a taxi driver and as a skipper on subway construction, among other things. In 1926 Wessel joined the NSDAP and the SA, and from 1929 he was also an SA storm leader of the SA Storm 5 in Berlin. In the same year he had first published his poem "The flag high, the ranks dense [later changed to: firmly] closed!" in the National Socialist magazine Der Angriff, which later became the Horst Wessel song with the melody of a sailor's song. After communists attempted to assassinate him on January 14, 1930, Wessel was immediately taken to the Friedrichshain hospital, but died there, now completely emaciated, on February 23, 1930 after almost six weeks of terrible suffering. The Berlin Gauleiter Joseph Goebbels, who probably still had some hope, wrote in his diary after the assassination attempt on Wessel: "I am very worried about whether we will get him through." Horst Wessel was ceremoniously buried in the old cemetery of the St. Nikolai and St. Marien parish in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg.
