Glockenfriedhof ist die gebräuchliche Bezeichnung eines Platzes für Glocken, auf dem im Ersten und Zweiten Weltkrieg Kirchenglocken, Rathausglocken u. ä. im Zuge von sogenannten Glockenablieferungen gesammelt wurden. Glocken waren wegen ihrer Bronze kriegswichtiges Material und wurden während des Ersten und Zweiten Weltkrieges zuerst freiwillig abgegeben, dann zwangsweise eingezogen. In Deutschland waren sie Teil der sogenannten Metallspende des deutschen Volkes.
