O shield of the weak, in the shadow of spears—
You rose when others bowed, stood firm when winds blew,

Your words were a sword, your stance was a flare.

Martyr not in body, yet martyred in will,
Crucified daily on propaganda's hill—
They could not silence you with lies or chains,
Your legacy roars louder than their planes.
O son of Hussain, your turban a flag,

Should you fall, it will not be the end—
But a spark for ten thousand who’ll rise and defend.
Your blood—if it falls—will not fall in vain,
It will write verses in the hearts of the slain.
And from your echo, the earth shall cry:
