VIEW POINT: Do you suffer from fear, anger, a sense of helplessness, powerlessness and exhaustion. Maybe you have a disturbed sleep pattern, panic attacks with muscle twitching. If you have all or a majority of these unpleasant symptoms you may well have ‘eco anxiety’. Perhaps you have a chronic fear of environmental doom. A certain Greta Thunberg discussed her eco anxiety in 2018 and predictably this ‘anxiety’ has now become more widespread and fashionable with the gullible. The American Psychological Association does not consider eco anxiety to be a psychological illness as they believe it is reasonable to be worried about climate. There is no acknowledgment of contrarian viewpoints. Man made climate change is a done deal from their point of view.
In November 2023 an IPOS poll conducted across a number of countries asked those polled if they could agree with the statement ‘within 25 years I will likely be displaced by climate change’. The global average was 38% with Ireland about 34%. Brazil was 62% yet the Netherlands was only 18% despite a large percentage of that country being below sea level already. I suspect that Dutch people are used to battling nature and are confident in their ability to continue to do so through common sense and pragmatism. In September 2021 a survey of 100,000 young people across ten countries found that 60% were very worried or extremely worried about climate change and that 40% reported that they were hesitant to have children. The blind acceptance of the climate change narrative without challenging the assumptions behind that narrative have produced unhappiness and anxiety in a considerable percentage of young people across numerous countries.
Our Department of Education is set to perpetuate and validate this unnecessary anxiety based on a contested pseudoscience by creating a new leaving cert subject called ‘Climate Change and Sustainable Development’. This subject encourages ‘activism’ and the National Council for Curriculum Development stated that the course will develop a students capacity for ‘informed and meaningful action for a just and sustainable world’. The course which will be launched across forty three schools will according to the National Council for Curriculum Development be ‘grounded in scientific evidence and human rights principles’. 40% of the marks will be awarded for an ‘action project’ which will be little more than educating students on how to protest and become activists based on a pseudoscience. There will be no relevant or meaningful engagement with the historical record which shows a planet that warms and cools over long cycles that are totally independent of human activity. By the careful inclusion of cherry picked ‘facts’ and by excluding other information, particularly concerning the historical narrative an erroneous and unfounded piece of unscientific propaganda is offered to students instead of a real opportunity to learn.
The likely outcome of this courses introduction will be a cohort of unquestioning students who will fuel each other’s climate anxiety and obediently embrace fifteen minutes lockdown zones and various climate restrictions having never asked the obvious question if the various ice ages happened because of human activity. Students deserve balanced information that will prepare them for life’s challenges, not carefully crafted propaganda aimed at undermining society as we know it. This ‘climate agenda’ is already undermining agriculture in this country, will be restrict our right to international travel by penalising airlines and ultimately will lead to travel restrictions, family size restrictions and the size of accommodation made available to you as all of these factors impinge on your ‘carbon footprint’ and the ‘common good’ will have to be satisfied as per the dictates of globalists. A compliant cohort of climate confused students makes the achieving of this dystopian society all the easier. This unscientific and agenda driven subject should be scrapped and the time allotted to it transferred to real learning.

The report is vague about when the schoolgirl first experienced the chest pains and had to go to the doctor but we can deduce it was around February 2023. There's no mention if she had entered the Covid-19 medical trials linked to heart problems. Her mother says she had been perfectly healthy before this episode but the girl thinks she may have had an underlying heart defect even though there were no signs of any heart issues up until 2023. We need to know if she was injected or not. We must demand answers and proper news reporting. This won't do. What changed? On January 31, 2007, The Irish Times reported there was an average of five sudden cardiac deaths a year across all of Irish sport between the ages of 14-35. Now we're told there are two deaths a week under the age of 35 from Sudden Adult Death Syndrome.

As much as I don't trust Dr Aseem Malhotra - it's refreshing to hear these words on Channel 4 News. If Vaccine Daddy Trump was genuine, the toxic jabs he's so proud of, would be off the market by now and the clean up would have started immediately.
