The current crypto climate is a hodler market. This means that RR for swing trading is extremely low and stabling up prob has higher RR.

Most funds I speak to are mainly positioned in stables and BTC with small allocations in ETH + SOL.

For the average retail user there are 2 paths to follow.

1. Follow the smart money and hold majority of ur port in stables + BTC. Wait for market flows to return before apeing into the market.

For this approach to be effective, you will have to be monitoring the market pretty consistently to time ur re-entry into the markets.

2. For those without the time or wants a more hands off approach, you can keep ur holdings in BTC + stables and gradually scale into Alts with longevity.

Longevity comes in the form of protocol revenue and having reasonable token emission. Most importantly, having upcoming catalysts that will capture even more value is a must.

This slow DCA method allows u to have exposure to altcoins u want when the market flips but leaves u exposed to potential dips.

Some notable coins with decent emissions + revenue :
- HYPE
- MNT
- PENDLE

Whilst the 2nd approach might not be as capital efficient as the 1st, it requires less consistent effort to pull off.

For the average retail users with an itch to trade, its also more suitable to adopt.

It is important to always keep some stables generating yield in your port no matter the market conditions.

Seeing more frens speaking about Ostium recently

Gona step up my game to farm up the points. Longing Gold and scalping the uptrend on GBPUSD will prob be my main source of vol.

Similar to Hyperliquid previous, my early stage farming yielded me the bulk of my returns. As it gets more popular, TVL and Vol dilutes and it gets much harder to get points.

Guess i got to hustle harder for the points this week

Mantle Banking is prob the most exciting product we have coming up.

Crypto is at a crossroads where we have to embrace Tradfi elements and thread the thin line between CeFi and DeFi. CeFi used to just refer to CEX to DeFi Linkage and used more as a buzzword to for fund raising for projects. Now it literally means to merge all TradFi elements like Banking, Fixed Income, Equities etc.

As we see the converge between the markets, its important that teams with sufficient TradFi expertise + Web3 Knowhow start to work on gateways for both audiences. The first mover advantage is there for any party to take but it also have the rockiest path as the team have to transverse Tradfi legality while also offering Web3 optionality.

The Mantle Team have been expanding aggressively to reach our goals and I do feel that we are well positioned now to capitalise on the composition of our team through the Mantle Banking Product.

Still early stages for this new category of Web3 Banking but once we kickstart the vertical, I expect various other parties to follow and form up a new emerging core category in Crypto.

Exciting times ahead.

EUROC TVL still steadily climbing

Its no where near USD but would be interesting to see if defi protocols start integrating it as an option.

Weakening dollar leaves an opportunity for newer players esp tokenized gold.

Accounting would be a nightmare but tokenized gold as trading pair would be pretty nice

Pretty interesting.

Ostium Testnet already allows the trading of stocks like NVDA & TSLA

Given their recent traction in vol and tvl increase for their OLP vaults, I think this will help drive up their traction considerably.

Pretty bullish on the Ostium team and excited to see how their product develops.

The AWS outage literally rendered majority of crypto unusable.

I think its time people break down the definition of decentralization into more granular aspects instead of using it as a sweep categorization.

Decentralization can be applied to many aspects:
1. Unrestricted access
2. Censorship resistant usage
3. Operational redundancy
4. Widespread ownership

Basically anything that transfers authority from one singular entity to multi entities to minimize a singular point of failure is decentralization.

Many aspects of decentralization are beneficial but some are not practical.

With the convergence of Tradfi and Crypto, we will see more practical implementations instead of idealistic implementations of decentralization moving forward. Its the most logical step forward.

Im long on Gold atm on Ostium atm.

Sadly it seems like the asset with the highest RR for now.

Political tensions between USA and China escalating with embargoes places on essentials goods from both side.

Best to have some Gold exposure until everything settles.

Silver lagging behind gold as usual.

Honestly, I would much prefer to trade BTC but orange man talks too much and makes it too hard to pick a direction.

I think we will continue to see DeFi products w Tradfi elements being successful at raises.

Tradfi boys want familiar features and stuff that they can relate with. Fixed income is top on the list and the Treehouse team has a good record of selling their products to institutions.

I dont have exposure to Treehouse but I will start looking for projects w similar features
