I had an interesting conversation last night with a well meaning yet misinformed friend about the new “team Canada” and their ‘only buy Canadian’ rhetoric.
I informed them that Molson, Moores, McDonalds, Walmart, IBM, imperial oil, General Motors, gulf Canada, hasbro, ford motors, GE, Cargil, Costco, Direct energy, Staples, Warner music, toys R us, Amazon to name a few, are AMERICAN owned companies.
As well as many of the stores you shop in at the mall are American businesses.
Let’s not forget that many of you are on your American owned Apple phone, iPad or computer right now claiming you will only “buy Canadian” and calling everyone a traitor for not aligning with your insane, misguided, misinformed narrative.
Also, X is where I see so many bitching. X is an American company.
Hypocrisy is rampant in Canada today.
