🇮🇶🇹🇷- Assyrian MP of the Turkish parliament, George Aryo honors the victims of the Assyrian and Armenian genocides during session, despite the Turkish government's denial.
"Today is the 110th anniversary for the events of April 24, 1915 - a black stain on Turkey's history.
"I remember with respect the Armenian, Assyrian and all other peoples who lost their lives during these events.
"In 1915, Turkey's population was 13 million, of which comprised 3 million Christians.
"Today, Turkey's population is 86 million. And the number of Christian people living in Turkey is 50,000.
"Now I am asking all political parties in parliament. I asked the same question last year too, but no one wanted to answer.
"My question is: Why is the population of Christians 50.000 while Turkey's entire population is 86 million?
“Only by means of an answer to this question will democracy reach Turkey.
"Otherwise, it’s impossible for Turkey to become a democracy."

🇸🇾🇹🇷 — Al-Khabour: The mother of a girl kidnapped by the PYD youth threatens to burn herself if she is not returned to her.
The mother of Farida Khalil Muhammad (born 2009) appealed to the relevant authorities and the international community to intervene immediately to return her daughter, who was kidnapped by the Revolutionary Youth Organization (Jwanan Shorshkar), affiliated with the Democratic Union Party (PYD) militia, with the aim of recruiting her into the militia's ranks.
In a video clip circulated on social media on Wednesday, the woman said that her daughter, Farida, was kidnapped by members of the organization for forced recruitment, despite her young age and need for family care. The devastated mother added that she suffers from difficult health conditions and cannot bear her daughter's absence, stressing that she will "burn herself" if the child is not returned to her.
This incident comes in the context of a series of kidnappings of children and minors in northeastern Syria, where forced recruitment by the PYD/PKK is frequent, despite the signing in 2019 of an action plan with the United Nations by the so-called "SDF," which is led by the PYD, to end the recruitment of children in armed conflict.
Human rights organizations in the region face difficulty in accessing recruited children or learning about their fate after their abduction. Previous reports issued by international and local organizations have documented the continued recruitment of children in areas controlled by the SDF, despite official commitments to stop these violations.

In the Ghuwayran neighborhood of Hasakah city, the militia arrested the child "Abdul Rahman Ahmed Al-Ali," 13 years old, along with his mother and aunt, from their home near the Fatima School. The militia accused them of harboring a defector from its ranks.
In the same neighborhood, Ghuwayran, the militia arrested civilian Ahmed Al-Tayawi, 61, along with his entire family, consisting of three daughters and two sons, on the same charge.
They also arrested elderly man Ahmed Al-Saleh Al-Ubaid, along with his wife and son's wife, after raiding his home near the Electricity Roundabout in the city of Hasakah.
In Raqqa Governorate, the militia arrested young man Khalil Mustafa Al-Muhammad from the Al-Badou neighborhood after shooting and wounding him. He had previously defected from the militia and had reached a settlement agreement. In the countryside of the city of Tabqa in the western Raqqa countryside, the PKK/SDF militia arrested 13 former members in the town of Al-Jarniyah, who had reached settlement agreements with the militia and had returned.
In the village of Tarwaziyat al-Jada'a, north of Raqqa, the militia arrested the young man, Fayez Abdul Saq'an, during a raid on the village, following a Turkish bombardment that targeted a PKK/SDF cadre's vehicle two days ago.
In Deir ez-Zor, the PKK/SDF militia arrested the following young men:

🇸🇾 — NPA: Al-Sharaa, "We Have Agreements with Russia, and Some US Conditions Need to Be Discussed"
Syrian President, Ahmed al-Sharaa, revealed on Wednesday the existence of agreements with Russia, noting that some US conditions for lifting sanctions on Syria need to be discussed.
Al-Sharaa told the New York Times: "Any chaos in Syria will harm the entire world, not just neighboring countries," adding that "regional and European countries are interested in the stability of the new Syria after the fall of the Assad regime."
Commenting on the foreign presence in Syria, he said: "We have informed all parties that the military presence in Syria must comply with our laws... Any foreign presence in Syria must not pose a threat to other countries across our territory."
He added: "We have had food and energy agreements with Russia for years, and these Syrian interests must be taken into consideration... We have not yet received offers from countries to replace our weapons, most of which are Russian-made."
He indicated his government's commitment to maintaining peace in the Syrian coastal regions and vowed to hold those responsible for the violence witnessed in those regions.
The Syrian president called on Washington to lift the sanctions on Syria, imposed in response to the crimes of the former regime, adding that "some American conditions for lifting sanctions need to be discussed or amended."
Al-Sharaa noted that "a few months are not enough to build an army for a country the size of Syria."

🇮🇷 — Shafaq: Iranian nuclear sites under the lens of satellites.
A report issued by the Institute for Science and International Security on Wednesday revealed that Iran has strengthened its security measures around two deep tunnel complexes connected to its main nuclear facilities, based on recent satellite imagery.
This comes as the United States and Iran prepare for a third round of talks on a potential agreement to reimpose restrictions on Tehran's nuclear program.
US President Donald Trump, who announced during his first term that the United States was withdrawing from the 2015 nuclear agreement, which aimed to prevent Tehran from developing nuclear weapons, threatened to bomb Iran unless a similar agreement was quickly reached.
Trump's withdrawal has led Iran to violate many of the restrictions imposed by the agreement. Western powers suspect Iran is seeking the capability to assemble a nuclear weapon, a charge Tehran denies.
The institute's president, David Albright, said the new security cordon indicates that the tunnel complexes, which have been under construction for several years under Mount Kulang Gas, could become operational relatively soon.
Albright noted that Tehran has not allowed UN nuclear inspectors access to the nuclear complexes.
He added that this has raised concerns that the complexes could be used to store Iran's stockpile of highly enriched uranium or undeclared nuclear material, as well as advanced centrifuges that can purify uranium to a level sufficient to quickly make a bomb.
According to Albright, the complexes are being built at much deeper depths than the underground uranium enrichment facility at Fordow, near the religiously significant city of Qom.
The report noted that commercial satellite images taken in March showed fortified entrances to the complexes, high wall panels erected along the edges of a stepped road that surrounds the mountaintop, and excavation work to install additional panels.
The report confirmed that the northern side of the perimeter connects to a security ring around the Natanz facility.
The ongoing construction at the complexes appears to confirm Tehran's rejection of demands that any talks with the United States lead to the complete dismantling of its nuclear program, stating that it has the right to obtain nuclear technology for peaceful uses.
Israel has not ruled out a strike on Iranian nuclear facilities in the coming months, while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insists that any talks must lead to the complete dismantling of Iran's nuclear program.
On Tuesday, the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Mohammad Eslami, appeared to hint at projects such as building a new security perimeter around tunnel complexes, citing concerns that Iran's nuclear program is at risk.
Iranian state media quoted Eslami as saying during an event marking the anniversary of the founding of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps that "efforts are continuing... to expand the scope of precautionary measures" at nuclear facilities.

🇹🇷🇸🇾 — The PKK executes a Kurdish man who attempted to flee their ranks.
Bishnak Muhammad Aliko, a 28-year-old man, was kidnapped by the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in 2014 when he was sixteen years old. He was taken from his village of Badino, in the Raju district of the Afrin countryside, and was trained and forced to fight in their ranks.
About a year ago, Bishnak attempted to escape from the camp, but his attempt was thwarted. He was arrested and imprisoned for a full year. After his release about a month ago, he again began planning to flee the areas controlled by the SDF toward Syrian interim government territory, and from there to Lebanon, with the goal of reaching Europe.
However, the PKK discovered his intention and arrested and executed him yesterday. His family later reported that he had been killed in the Deir ez-Zor countryside battles, despite the absence of any clashes in the area at the time.
Audio recordings are available documenting his desire to flee, and show his refusal to continue in the ranks of the terrorist PKK militia after discovering what he described as its “lies and hypocrisy” and its exploitation of young people in battles he described as “absurd and aimed at trading in their lives.”

Private sources in the Syrian capital, Damascus, allege that the United States has begun practical steps to complete the withdrawal of its forces from the area east of the Euphrates River, and this process is expected to be completed within 25 days. According to the same sources, the Al-Tanf base will remain in place, with approximately 400 US troops present, in coordination with the Syrian government.
In a significant development at the regional level, work is currently underway to activate a joint Arab-Turkish coalition to combat terrorism, led by Turkey in cooperation with Jordan, Iraq, and Syria. This coalition will be tasked with securing the prisons of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), in coordination with the international coalition, which will oversee the transfer of prisoners or provide them with the necessary protection.
