⚡️🇸🇾 EXCLUSIVE | What Armed Groups Have Agreed to Disband and Merge Into the New Syrian Army?
According to Al Arabiya, 18 armed groups have agreed to disband and unite into a new Syrian army. However, the full list of groups is nowhere to be found. The ShamS team did an OSINT research. We were able to identify 17 of the 18 armed groups:

1️⃣1️⃣ Hamza Division
1️⃣2️⃣ Sultan Suleiman Shah Division

The factions from Suwayda, the Southern Operations Room in Daraa, and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have not signed the dissolution agreements.

Al-Qassam Announces Martyrdom of Its Commander, Deputy, and Military Council Members
Al-Qassam Brigades spokesperson Abu Ubaida announced in a recorded statement the martyrdom of military chief Mohammed Deif, his deputy Marwan Issa, and key military leaders: Ghazi Abu Tamaa (head of weapons and combat services), Raed Thabet (head of manpower), and Rafee Salama (commander of Khan Younis Brigade).
Abu Ubaida stated that the leaders were martyred during Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, whether in command centers, on the battlefield, or while coordinating combat operations. He noted that the announcement was delayed due to security measures and verification processes.
Israel had previously claimed in August that it had killed Deif in an airstrike on a site in Khan Younis.
