My take on these blatant Jewish double standards:
1. The three-pronged shin on the outside right of the tefillin = "We Jews, outwardly claim to follow the Torah. We wear a tefillin as the law requires to show how Torah observant we are."
2. The four-pronged shin on the outside left of the tefillin = "We Jews, outwardly declare that the entire law is invalid. We do not follow the Torah, but the Talmud which is rooted in ancient Jewish mysticism and Kabbalah."
