The task is performed by the soldiers of the 2nd Mechanized Battalion of the 3rd Karakurt Company.
The territory is densely mined, and the bodies of two hundred enemy soldiers are scattered around. The rest of the enemy forces are still in trenches and dugouts, which must be cleared at dawn.
With our “birds” buzzing in the sky, the fighters are throwing grenades at the holes, covering each other and shooting their way through. The groups cautiously move forward meter by meter, while the voices on the radio hurry them along: there is no time to lose, no vigilance.
Amidst the gunfire and danger from the sky, the soldiers trophy enemy weapons and help a wounded comrade. Each piece of liberated land is the result of extraordinary efforts and dedication of the Ukrainian military.
