Geleitet wird das Unternehmen vom Gründer und Gesellschafter Nikolaus Ziegert und vom Geschäftsführer Kyrill Radev. Der Beirat des Unternehmens ist prominent besetzt mit dem ehemaligen Bundesinnenminister Otto Schily (SPD) und dem ehemaligen Vorstandsvorsitzenden der Dresdner Bank, Bernd Fahrholz.
Im September 2024 ging das Unternehmen eine Partnerschaft mit dem Investmentunternehmen H.I.G. Capital aus Miami ein. H.I.G. stellte Ziegert 50 Millionen Euro zur Verfügung, um damit „bestehende Projekte und strategische Ankäufe zu finanzieren“, wie H.I.G. damals mitteilte.

Nach der Gröner-Group ist das nun der zweite große Spekulant, der in Berlin Insolvenz anmeldet und möglicherweise Bauruinen hinterlässt.
Neben der Gröner-Group war auch die Ziegert-Group immer wieder im Fokus von Protesten von Mieter:innen, inklusive militanter Aktionen.

Hacemos un llamado a lxs compañerxs alrededor del mundo para un dia de acción internacional en memoria de la muerte del guerrero anarquista y querido compañero Kyriakos Ximitiris (16 de Noviembre).
Invitamos a lxs compañerxs desde el extranjero a enviar mensajes textos que les gustaría que leyéramos en el acto político en memoria del compañero Kyriakos, que tendrá lugar el mismo día en Atenas.

El 31/10/204, después de que un dispositivo hiciera explosión en un apartamento en Ampelokipoi, nuestro compañero anarquista Kyriakos Xymitiris cayó en la batalla por la liberación social y de clase, mientras que nuestra compañera anarquista Marianna M., que también estaba en el apartamento, terminó con multiples lesiones y hasta ahora está siendo tratada y custodiada en el Hospital Evangelismos. Al mismo tiempo, dos personas más son arrestadas y llevadas a investigación, el compañero Dimitris y el compañero anarquista Dimitra fueron detenidos.
La compañera Marianna M. está detenida y custodiada en Evangelismos, con todos los aparatos represivos y la agencia de lucha contra el terrorismo con el objetivo de extraer declaraciones de la compañera. No hemos olvidado los casos de tortura de compañeras que fueron capturadas y custodiadas en instituciones de enfermería y sufrieron maltrato físico a través de prácticas médicas, siendo explotadas en su estado físico, emocional y mental. Tales imposiciones del poder estatal son claramente torturas...

Our engagement includes anti-gentrification, anti-fascism, anti-colonialist/imperialist resistance, immigrant rights, opposition to police violence, anti-militarism, anti-speciesism, solidarity with comrades in prisons, addressing economic/social injustice, and many other political movements.

Nazi-Knallfrosch Ferhat Sentürk hat endlich aufgegeben. Nachdem der Aufmarsch vergangenen Samstag in Berlin grandios gescheitert ist, hat er jetzt ein Statement veröffentlicht, dass er keine Aufmärsche mehr anmeldet und sich aus der aktiven Politarbeit zurückzieht.
Dieses Beispiel zeigt, wie wichtig es ist, sich den Nazis wirklich aktiv entgegenzustellen und ihre Veranstaltungen und Demonstrationen zu blockieren und zu verhindern. Weiter so!

Linking radical history to today’s struggles
For this first get-together, two comrades who have been active since the early 90s in Berlin antifascist anti-colonial struggles will tell us about that time and about the continuities until today:
an Indigenous comrade from Abya Yala and a comrade from Antifaşist Gençlik (antifascist group formed in 1988 by migrant youth in Berlin).
They will speak in German and Spanish, with translations to English and German.
