....got a bushcraft knife i made out of an old meat cleaver many years ago, it lives behind the door in the van, so tends to get a bit rusty....I made a sheath for it today out of an old handbag from the charity shop....fairly pleased with the outcome....might polish the blade and finish it properly one of these days....

Sixty years of producing standardized fruit and vegetables and creating industrial hybrids have had a dramatic impact on their nutritional content.
....this is why we grow our own food, and I would encourage everyone to grow some of their own too....
