ENTER SANDMAN was used to torture prisoners at Guantanamo Bay. While interrogating 9/11 hijacker Mohammed al-Qahtani, using the song brought him to tears bc “he thought he was hearing the sound of Satan".
American Soldiers also blasted it on high, w/ strobe lights, for 24 hrs at a time against prisoners after the Iraq invasion — a message to the enemy that AMERICA WILL WIN THE WAR ON TERROR.
People assume we should be offended that somebody in the military thinks our song is annoying……& if played over & over, can psychologically break someone down, but I take it as an honor to think that our song could be used to quell another 9/11 attack or something like that.
