💻 How does it work?
• Bitcoin needs to confirm new transactions every few minutes.
• Many computers (called miners) race to solve a difficult math problem.
• The first one to solve it earns a reward: new Bitcoin + fees.
• The puzzle takes time, electricity, and powerful machines to solve.
That’s why it’s called Proof of Work — the computer must prove it did real work before it can get paid.
• It keeps the network safe and secure.
• It makes sure no one cheats or sends fake transactions.
• It created one of the first ways people could earn crypto — by doing digital “labour” through mining.
